The second stage introduces you to more enemies and more Copy Abilities to play with, and there are also some collectibles to pick up on the way.
To help you make your way through as smoothly as possible, and collect everything you need to throughout the stage, we’ve made this handy guide. You&r♛squo;ll also find out how to defeat the boss at the end of the stage without any trouble.
First Section
As soon as you enter Stage Two, you’ll see a new enemy — suck it up, and you’ll gain the Leaf Copy Ability. You can use this to at🎀tack enemies with swir♏ling leaves.
Head up the ladder further ahead, and there are some Waddle Dees and blocks for you to blast through. Keep going through the enemies and collecting stars along the way, and you’ll eventually see a large yellow star. Jump up t🐻o it, and Kirby will fly on it to a new area.
Here, follow the arrow right, jumping onto the ledge to collect a star. You’ll see a new Ability up ahead — grab this to receive the Cutter Ability. This acts like a boomerang when you attack, as Kirby will throw the weapon at enemies and catch it again. It can also cut through obje𓆉cts.
Keep going ahead, and you’ll see spiders hanging up in a tree. If you walk beneath them, they’ll land on you and damage you. Use the Cutter Ability to cut their webs so they fall to the ground, collecting the star on the ledge as you go. ꦇContinue using the Ability to take on the spiders and other enemieಞs ahead.
Up ahead, you’ll spot an enemy wit🌊h a similar abili𒈔ty, throwing a weapon out to attack you. Take it out with your own Ability.
When you see a platform held up with a rope, cut the rope to reach the blue star below. The star door is just up ahead, but watch out for the spiders as you approach. There’s also ൩a piece of meat here to r🉐estore your health.
Second Section
Head down the stairs until you reach a cannon. Run into it, and Kirby will pick it up. The cannon continuously fires cannonballs, destroying enemies on contact. Use this to ꧒plow your way through the enemies up ahead. You can also jump while holding it to reach higher, harder-to-👍reach enemies.
Further along, you’ll see that the path ends, but there’s a star high up surrounded by blocks. Aim for this using the cannon, an🍒d ﷺplatforms will appear so you can continue.
Just up ahead, there’s an Energy Sphere. Use your cannon to destꦫroy the blocks above you, then jump up to collect it.
Your cannon is limited and may run out if you take your time. Make sure to grab the Energy Sp🍎here before this happens.
💫The star💯 door to the next section is just up ahead.
Third Section
Following the arrow, head up and grab the Copy Ability on the right. You’ll gain the Needle Copy Ability — when pressing the attack button, Kirby will puff out, pointing the needles into enemies. Holding the direction❀al stick upwards causes one tall spike to shoot out at the top of Kirby’s head instead.
Continue heading up the platforms here, picking up the Cherry on the left if you need health and attacking enemies using your spikes. There’s also a Life-Up to the right behind blocks.
Head up again, and be careful to take out the new enemy that can shoot electric shocks. Take the ladder to reach the star door. Avoid or take ou🔯t the spiders.
Before you head through the door, continue right, and you’ll see an Energy Sphere above and three stars below.
Gigant Edge Boss Fight
Here, you have a choice between the Fire Copy Ability and the Beam Copy Ability. The Fire Copy Ability allows Kirby to breathe fire at distances, while 𝓰the Beam Copy Ability gives Kirby a sword made of a beam. Both are solid options, so it’s your prefereꦆnce.
How To Defeat The Gigant Edge
The Gigant Edge is a slow-moving boss. It has a large sword that can take a little while to swing, so you can easily jump over it to get hits in behind it. When the sword makes contact with the ground, it sometimes creates a shocꦗꦉkwave that can hit and damage you, so make sure to avoid this.
Get your hits in with whichever Ability you chose, and the boss will soon go down. It only takes a few swings with the Beam Copy Ability’s sword.
Once it falls to the ground, keep hitting it until it disappears. Grab the Sword ability that appears on the left, and follow the arrow to the right. There’s a star on a ledge in front of you,🌺 so pick this up.
Above you, you’ll see an Energy Sphere, but you can’t reach it. You need to cut the rope attached to the block that the Waddle Dee is walking on. Approach it from theꦯ ledge on the left side and perform a spin attack.
If you cut the rope from below, the block will land on Kirby and kill him instantly.
Float up to the ledge where the Enerꦗgy Sphere is and collect it. Continue ahead💞 to reach the star door and complete this stage.
