Though your farmer naturally wakes up pretty early in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life (as most farmers typically do), after you🍷 unlock th🌞e Alarm Clock in the “Branching” chapter of A Wonderful Life, you’ll be able to wake up whenever you want.
Y♛ou can change what time you wake up each morning, or even take naps to regain some energy if you’re feeling tuckered out after a 🌳long morning of chores. In our guide, we’ll tell you how to unlock the Alarm Clock in A Wonderful Life, along with the Pickled Veggies recipe that you’ll need to get it.
How To Get The Alarm Clock
On the first day of your second year in Forgotten Valley, after you've gotten married and had your child, a few new faces will move into town.
One of these is Garrett, a salary man who lives in the Townhouses with his wife, San, and their daughter, Kate.
The request becomes available on Spring One of your second year, the "Branching" chapter. Garrett posts on the board to request Pickled Veggies, in exchange for his old Alarm Clock. The quest has no time limit.
And that might be good, because Garrett has a rather specific taste in pickles - hybrid pickles, to be s𒆙pecific, r🃏equiring some seed fusion before you can make them.
How To Make Pickled Veggies
You may have unlocked the recipe for Pickled Veggies from the Sprites, but in case you haven't, you'll need two of the following hybrid crops:
- Caroturn
- Sweeturn
- Turnmato
- Waturnip
These are several options for your Turnip-based hybrid crops. If you haven't gotten into making hybrid seeds yet, check out our guide for some tips and tricks to help you get started.
You need two different veggies from the list, so using the same won't quite work.
Selecting one in the🧸 cooking proce🅰ss will gray it out on your menu screen, forcing you to choose a different second ingredient.
When you're finished with the recipe, head back to Garrett and tell him you're there to talk about his request. You'll trigger a cutscene with him at his house, in which he'll offer to come set up the Alarm Clock at yours.
How To Use The Alarm Clock
After Garrett sets it up for you, you can access the Alarm Clock on your bedside table, right where Takakura's Notebook is on the shelf.
There are three arms on the Alarm Clock. The two black arms are your hour and minute hands that denote the current time at which you're setting the alarm.
The red arm is the one that will set the alarm. There are five ticks between each number shown on the clock, which mark ten-minute increments. It's a 12-hour clock.
To set the alarm, it's best to find the hour you'd like to wake up, get the red hand to that hour on the clock, and then count the ticks up from there.
You can also use the alarm to take naps. If you set the alarm for a later time than it currently is that day and go to sleep, you'll wake up at that later time, but on the same day and with your energy replenished.
The alarm stays set until manually changed, so if you're not using it multiple days in a row, be sure to turn the alarm off if you don't need it the following day, lest you wake up later than you'd like!
