We all know Pokémon are friends and that characters in the world of Pokémon have deep personal connections with these sentient beasts. No one in their right mind would ever consider munching down on the brave and loyal Pikachu. But, let's face it: people gotta eat something.
The Pokémon anime series doesn't shy away fro🌠m the subject, so why should we🅠? , typically grilled, and while you may be able to convince yourself Slowpoke tails grow back, allow me to present exhibit A.
That's your boys Ash and Brock getting the meat sweats just imagining a sliced and diced Magikarp. Granted, Magikarp is the least respected of all Pokémon, but does it not evolve into the majestic Gyrados? Does the Magikarp not feel? I say eat 'em all and let God decide. Here's the 5 Pokémon we would definitely eat if Pokémon w⭕ere real.
Miltanks Are Filled With Strawberry Milk
Ok, that isn't exactly canon, but Miltank milk is pretty magical stuff none-the-less. It's said to be incredibly sweet and nutritious and can heal Pokémon and trainers alike. Milktanks can produce up 🔜to 5 gallons of milk a day, which is a few gall🍎ons shy of a real cow, but this is pretty potent stuff.
With milk so good, imagine how delicious the beef must be! Normally, dairy cow beef is usꦬed for pretty low grade products like dog food (or Taco Bell probably) but given how active the average Miltank is (did you know they can learn Ice Beam?) I bet Miltank meat stays pretty tender and delicious. Maybe someday they'll do a regional variant of Miltank and it will be considered the Wagyu beef of the Pokémon universe.
Vanillites Smile At You While You Consume Them
This ones a gimmie. Vanillite is literally an ice cream cone. The only caveat I'd mention here is that this would be the only Pokémon on this list you would have to eat alive.🌌 It's not like you cook ice cream anyway, and Vanillite seems like it'd just be happy for the attention.
In Ultra Sun and Moon Vanillite's Pokédex entry says "When the morning sun hit an icicle, it wished not to melt, and thus Vဣanillite was born. Aꦫt night, it buries itself in snow to sleep". Apparently Vanillite's actual head is a frozen ice ball beneath that creamy layer of vanilla goodness, which suggests you can consume Vanillite without actually hurting it.
Combusken Tastes Like Spicy Chicken
Combusken iไs the correct poultry to eat out of the three Chickénওmon in Torchic's evolutionary line. Torchic, obviously, falls under the Pikachu rule of much too pet-like for snack time. While Blaziken, like Incineroar after it, is basically just a weird looking human.
Combusken is perfect because it's p🅺retty much just a big ol' chicken with delicious flaming-hot meat. Imag𝕴ine the chicken sandwich war all the fast food chains would be having right now once one of them got Combusken Sandwiches on the menu. Combusken is probably the most delicious 'mon on this entire list.
Drowzee Is Practically Made Of Flavor
Not that ant-eaters are particularly delicious. (Well, maybe t🅘hey are, has anyone ever tried to eat one?) No, Drowzee makes the list because of its dream-eating power. Its infamous Pokédex entry from Gen 2 says "It remembers every dream it eats. It rarely eats the dreams of adults because children's are much tastier." We know it keeps these dreams in some kind of genetic memory because of its Gen 1 entry: "If you sleep by it all the time, it will sometimes show you dreams it has eaten in the past."
I can't even imagine what a child's dream must taste like, but it's probaꦑbly some pretty decadent stuff. Drowzees have whole lifetimes of dreams stored in their meat. That's just science, my friends.
Ditto Can Just Transform Into The Perfect Meal
A lot of people may not know that Ditto is a full blown shapeshifter. Not only can it transform into any Pokémon on this list, it can actually transform into ANY solid object. Ditto can transform into filet mignon, peppero🌟ni pizza, baked potato soup, or anything else you're in the mood for. It's as simple as commanding him to transform and you can have a delicious three-course meal instantly, as long as you donܫ't mind your food having a creepy little smile and beady eyes.
On the other hand, Ditto in it's natural form ▨could very well be a delicious treat on its own. He looks like bubble-gum or perhaps even grape Laffy Taffy. I feel like you could just take a big bite out of Ditto and the rest of it would morph together and smooth out the bite mark. Technically you could p꧂robably eat most off Ditto and then transform it into an entire new meal. That's just good value, dessert first!
