5 It's Story Based

Naughty Dog is best known for the their story based games. There's a beginning, an end, and one way to get there. Many games recently have given players the choice on its story's direction, but that isn't the case here. The goal is for players all to experience the same story, so while The Last of Us Part II exhibits more of an open world than its predecessor, don't expect to make any choices that drastically change the couꦛrse of the narrative.

4 It Can Be Uncomfortable

This is a revenge story, first and foremost. Without going into spoilers, The Last of Us Part II continues in the footsteps of its predecessor as it explores the idea of how far would you go for someone you🥂 love.

The journey Ellie goes on is dark and unsettling and it's supposed to be that way. There will be decisions mad𓆏e that you won't necessarily agree with, but the game is meant to challenge your way of thinking as you maneuver through the journey.

The game is also very violent. The combat itself is realistic, both with its gunplay and close encounters and sometimes the urge to look away is strong. And while the violence is central and im✃portant to the game's themes, it may be beneficial to know of the game's graphic nature before jumping in.

3 There's Lots To Explore

The Last of Us Part II's world is massive. With most of the game taking place in the city of Seattle, there is so much for players to explore. 𒐪And whiꦦle there is only one story path to follow, that doesn't mean there aren't other things to experience.

Some of the game's best moments are optional and can only be experienced if discovered by the player. Collectibles found also emphasize the world building and introduce side stories. It'll definitely be worth your time to read the notes you come across and wander 🎃around the abandoned buildings throughout Seattle. This is also the 🃏best way to find supplies that can improve your character and help craft weapon upgrades, making the game even more fun!

2 You'll Face Many Types Of Enemies

Just like its predecessor, The Last of Us Part II will have you face off against🎶 infected as well as human enemies. Infected still roam the world, taking up abandoned spaces and sometimes appearing where you least expect them. They're ruthless, spontaneous, and definitely still a threat. Plus, they've evolved since the last game, so kee𒁏p an eye out for new types of infected wandering around.

But the real threat will be the other humans you encounter. Groups have formed since the outbreak and most care only for themselves. The Last of Us Part II dissects how these different types of people interact with each other what they'll do if they get in each other's way. It's up to you to decide how to enter the conversation. Will you use stealth or tackle enemies head on? Or you could always 🥂pit enemies against each other and avoid a fight entirely.

1 It Benefits From The Left Behind DLC

While The Last of Us primarily focused on Joel, its DLC, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Left Behindcements Ellie as the main character. Ellie's past is mentioned throughout the first game, but never in too much detail. We know her life has been anything but easy, and her story leading up to the events of The Last of Us is on full display in Left Behind. We see who she is as a character without Joel and her persona🃏lity is on full display. But we also catch a glimpse of what has caused her so much pain.

Playing Left Behind put some of Ellie's actions in The Last of Us Part II into perspective. You learn more about her as a character before diving into a new story with her at your side. So while it isn't necessary to play Left Behind before diving into the sequel, it will only heigh🐻ten the experience and definitely the emotions.

The Last of Us Part II is available now exclusively for PlayStation 4.
