4 Zo๊mbies Aren’t The Only Danger

Zombies are dangerous, but that doesn’t mean you can ignore the other things that might kill you. You can die if you’re not hydrated, and even get gored to death by a boar.

3 Don’t Stay Out Too Late ಞ
This isn’t just your mom’s advice for you when you first got your driver's license. Zombies in 7 Days to Die are largely nocturnal. Sure, you’ll find them awake in some locations, and they are still a danger when the sun is out. But at night (past 10:00) is when they truly come alive. When the sun goes down, the undead become significantly more powerful.
Early on in the game, then, it’s a good idea to find a safe place to weather the night away. Since you don’t have to sleep, you can spend your time crafting or leveling up your gear. Once you’ve reached a place where you feel ok venturing out, it’s fine to take that risk. But youℱ should wait until you have the experience to handle it safely. Like driving at night.
2 Pay Attention To Heat ♎ꦺ
Heat means more than one thing in 7 Days ꦓto Die, and while you should pay attention to the temperature, like most survival games, your heat actually indicates how much of a racket you’re causing. Generate enough heat in one area, and you’ll get hit with a screamer, a special zombie that, if you’re not quick about it, will start spawning zombies that will keep you from getting stuff done. If you’re prepared, you should be able to beat them back, but it will impede your efforts to prepare for the next blood moon.
Using guns, explosives, and heavy machinery will a🙈ll increase heat, but so will anything with flames, like campfires and torches. Breaking blocks and mining will also catch the ear of a wayward screamer. Use these items sparingly to minimize heat, or try traveling to different areas to use heavy machinery. If you crouch while getting resources, it lessens heat gained, because apparently, it’s physically possible to mine stealthily.
1 Difficu🙈lty📖 Scales With Your Level
In most games with RPG elements, your first objective is to level up. F☂ast. More levels mean a greater chance of ღsurvival. But in 7 Ways to Die, the difficulty setting is a bit more nuanced than that. Sure, more perks will make your character better at making eggs or crushing zombie skulls, but the zombies will also become more durable, and more numerous.
If you’re new to the game, then, you probably shouldn’t go racing off to get as many levels as quickly as you possibly can. That will get you killed before you have time to master the rest of the game’s mechanics and give you less time to figure out what skills you actually want. Taking your time to focus on resource gathering in the first few levels will help you survive the first horde more effectively, and let you plan for next week’s melee. T𝕴he game has no ending until you die, so there’s no rush at this point.
