A former Sony exec believes that Dreams will be a game-changer for the w🐻ay people make꧙ games.

Shawn Layden, the former Head of Sony’s Worldwide Studios, thinks that Dreams could be the first step in changing the way people make games. After developer Media Molecule announced yesterday that Dreams has officially gone gold, Layden replied saying that Dreams "is an epic achievement 🎃and will change game creation as we know it."
From what we’ve seen so far, he might be right. Current president of Sony Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida said in an interview last year that Sony has a that will start with creating its own community of game creators. After that, those games might eventually make their way to Sony’s store where they can be monetized ✨and sold.
After that, Dreams might make its way to other platforms. Media Molecule co-founder Kareem Ettouneym said they would love to bring Dreams to consoles beyond PlayStation, and even have plans to keep adding to Dreams over the next 20 years.
