It's one of the easier achievements in this group, but requires a lot of patience as you build a formidable deck. You basically have to obliterate an opponent by winning by an outrageous number -- it's best to get this out on the first roun🐟d or the last. Use a ton of spies and save your heroes!
9 🅷 David And Golyat
While boss battles in the base game of Witcher 3 are more reserved for the latter part of the game, the DLC hits you with them right off the bat. As soon as you enter the whimsical world of Toussaint in the Blood and Wine DLC you'll be up against Goylat.
In or💛der to unlock the achievement "David And Goylat" you have to finish the giant with a crossbow bolt in-between the eyes. When you get the beast down in health make sure to equip your crossbow with a stronger, more unique bolt to help take him down for good.
8 When It's Ma🗹ny Against One…
Some gamers might find themselves accidentally unlocking this achievement that requires you to "provoke all Iris von Everec's Nightmares into fighting you at the same time and defeat them." The boss battle comes up towards the end of The Hearts of Stone DLC and w🌸ill place you in a circle of Von Everec sp♛irits.
One spirit will already be attacking you, but the others will only be activated when you run into them (which is pretty easy t༺o do as the space is small). Remember you have to provoke all the spirits at once, from there it's going to꧟ take a lot of trial and error.
7 Master Marksman 𝔉 ꦛ
To unlock the "Master Marksman" achievement one must "kiℱll 50 human and nonhuman opponents by striking them in the head with a crossbow bolt." Like the aforementioned "David and Goylat" achievement this one might sound easy in theory, but it's truly not.
It's no secret that the crossbow sucks in The Witcher 3 and really only offers any real utility when you want to quick-shot a flying creature to get it down from the skies (which is something you should be doing in case you didn't know). Other than that it's useless, but if you start from the beginning of t⛦he game you'll reap this one in no time.
6 Humpty Dumpty 𝓡
Talk about a frustrating achievement, "Humpty Dumpty" requires you to "Kill 10 opponents by knocking them off somewhere high with the Aard Sign." If the crossbow is next-to-useless in The Witcher 3 then the Aard sign is its distant cousin.
Thankfully there are plenty of cliffs or higher-up places in the game, but the main 🧸problem comes from the fact that you have to upgrade Aard to have any opportunity to take this achievement home. Aard is sort of fun to play with, but it's the worst sign in the game. Upgrade it, then get🍨 the respec potion in Skellige to reset your skill tree.
5 Overkill
"Overkill" might require a lot of things to be happening simultaneously, but it's a ton of fun. You have to "make an opponent suffer from bl💫eeding, poisoning and burning simultaneously." And you have to do it 10 times.
Igni is one of the best offensive signs so ge♌t used to using it to cause the burning effect. Next you're going to want to equip the burning and poison stones to your sword -- if possible purchase or find the stones that give you the greatest percentage to inflict said damage. After that get in a routine of throwing igni and swinging like a madman.
4 King Of The 🅺Klink
You're going to need a guide for this one... we got you covered. Finish Blood and Wine first and when you're done look to your game saves and load up "Capture the Castle." This will lead you to the last mission where you'll be pr𝔍esented with two choices to find Syanna or find the Unseen Elder. Choose Syanna even though the Unseen Elder leads to a better, more fulfilling ending.
Complete the tasks that Syanna gives you and later Dettlaff will kill her as she won't be protected by evil anymore. This leads Anna Henrietta to throw you in prison for failing to protect her and will grant you the achievement. Remember do not pick up the Ribbon from the Little Flint Girl or you won't be 🌊able to unloc✃k it.
3 W✱alked The Path
"Ran The Gauntlet" is probably the most straight forward achi💯e꧙vement on this list, but nonetheless still a hard one to see all the way through. You have to beat the game on "Death March" which is the hardest difficulty in the game.
There's two ways to do this: you can beat the game on normal, learn it for the most part and go through a second time with knowledge equipped at your side. Or you can g๊o on Death March your first time through and essentially be baptized by fire. The choice is yours, but while the first option is a bit more tedious it's easier and a lot less frustrating in the long run.
2 ﷽ Gwent Master
In order to unlock "Gwent Master" you have to "defeat Tybalt and win the gwent tournament held at the Passiflora" in Novigrad. The reason this achievement is a bit tricky is you can complete the provided quest without ac🌃tually winning the tournament.
After qualifying with a sufficient enough Gwent deck y꧋ou'll be able༺ to lose at any stage in the tourney without any real consequence -- besides losing the ability to unlock this achievement. You're going to want to really beef out your Gwent deck before diving into this one and even then make sure you save in-between matches.
1 🔯 Card Collector
"Card Collector" which requires you to "acquire all Gwent cards available in the base version of the game," is undoubtedly the hardest achievement in The Witcher 3. It's basically impossible ꩵwithout an extensive guide so we'll throw one of but here's some important tips to keep in mind will pursuing the game's 199 cards.
Prioritize playing all the Gwent Players in every new area you enter the game and buy every card you find on vendors. There are side-quests in almost every major city that will grant you cards, always look out forღ them. There's even quests that focus entirely on Gwent, you'll find these on notice boards and through talking with folks. And if someone offers you the choice between cards or coin, always take the former.
