168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Activision Blizzard is facing a lot of scrutiny at the moment. That tends to happen when a company gets sued by the state of California for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:ꦅan alleged "frat-boy culture" - that includes routine sexual harassment and pay inequality - and then a rep♕orꦍt comes out that claims the CEO knew about everything all along.
Activision Blizzard needs someone watching over them, something employees have been demanding since August, shortly after the lawsuit began. A group of staff known collectively as issued a demand for "an audit of ABK policies and practices to be performed by a neutral third-party. Importantly, we demanded that this third party be selected by an employee-led Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion task forceꦺ."
Unfortunately, the Activision Blizzard board of directors has issued a statement explaining their stance on CEO Bobby Kotick - 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:they're behind him 100 percent and 🔥believe he can lead the company out of the mess he allegedly knew ab❀out and did nothing to solve for years.
To ensure Kotick and ABK are improving, consisting of the board's only two women has been created to "oversee the Company’s progress in successfully implementing its new policies, procedures, and commitments to improve workplace culture and eliminate all forms of harassment and discrimination at the Company."
This news might be less ridiculous if Kotick himself wasn't on the board of directors, or if the board hadn't just announced its full support for him, or if they hadn't appointed their only two women to lead this committee barely a week after former Blizzard co-leader Jen Oneal said she was paid less than her male counteౠrpart.
The official statement from the board has perhaps tried to disguise the fact they have appointed two of their own members by calling Dawn Ostroff and Reveta Bowers "independent directors". The statement also claims, "In addition, the Company is working to add a new, diverse director to the Board." That might be hard to do considering Oneal, a queer, woman of colour at the company left after just three months in a new position and claims she was "tokenized, marginalized, and di🙈scriminated agꩲainst."
