One former Activision Blizzard employee was let go on Christmas Eve, while many recounted how full-time employment was dangled as a carrot for yearꦬs, only to be yanked away with layoff announcements.

But it sounds like things will soon improve for Activision Blizzard contractors and temp workers. a new $17 minimum wage for all temporary employees, as well as 13 days of paid holidays starting in 2022. "Agency partners" (temp workers) will also get꧒ 9 sick days per year, which is the same number that Blizzard contractors get currently.
