It would appear that Activision has been going about lifting bans off of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Call of Duty players who've been penalized unfairly.
A large number of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone accoꦿunts were banned recently, wi🎉th . According to a Reddit thread, Activision could be in the process of correcting such.
Cheating among players in multiplayer titles has been a problem for quite some time and the CoD titles are no exception. Infinity Ward has had a tough time pinpointing and banning culpable players but, in April, outlined new tactics and added security measures with the aim of booting cheaters. Activision piled on with the implementation of a double-pronged authentication prompt for all new Warzone accounts on PC.
Of course,𒐪 several players with less-than-honest intentions slipped through the cracks and continue to steal victories. Activision may have taken indiscriminate action as a result as many players are complaining over getting banned 🔯for simply trying to play normally.
Users 🌼claimed to have found their accounts permanently banned when they logged in for a session earlier this week. Several of them note their stats are pretty average and are hardly indicative of any foul play. They've urged Activision to look into this, as well as revise their ban policy, which currently prevents owners of banned accounts from opening disputes, prompting reversals, or getting refunds.
One could well imagine how badly it must irk ꦚplayers who spent large amo𒁏unts on battle passes or cosmetic bundles. But it's also possible the bans had nothing to do with cheating and came about due to Infinity Ward's quest to weed out racist gamertags or related behavior.
Players are claiming CoD's anti-cheat tech could be detecting harmless or unrelated back🦩ground programs via PC but thꦺere are console players lamenting over unfair bans too.
It appears there's hope yet, despite the policy. YouTuber RDTechy was a recent ban victim who's posted a video showing his account up and rღunning again, while other players are following bans.
Hopefully, this will be the case for 💛most, if not all, of the players who received punishment undeservedly.
