During Sony's "168澳洲幸运5开奖网:State of Play" stream last night, a rather fetching looking indie brawler titled Aeon Must Die was shown off. Exhibiting an art style very reminiscent of Tron, it was one of the h𒀰ighlights in an otherwise boring streaಌm. Sadly, it seems that the trailer revealed during Sony's event was made under rather deplorable conditions.
Shortly before the stream last night, a video was uploaded to YouTube by a group of individuals claiming to be the original developers behind Aeon Must Die. Titled 🎶"," the information box contains a with a ton of evidence suggesting that developer Limestone has been actively participating in crunch.
"People who have worked on every shot of this are no longer with the company holding IP rights," reads the YouTube description. "Some were not𝐆 even paid for the🎃ir work. This trailer has a pending conflict of IP. The real IP for the game was stolen from the creators via foul play."
Earlier this morning, publisher Focus Home Interactive took to Twitter to address the concerns raised by these indi♚viduals. "Focus Home Interactive was informed of serious allegations raised by some of the developers at Limestone," . "These grievances are directed at Limestone, their direct employer. As the publisher of this video game, Focu🐠s is carefully looking into these allegations and will draw the necessary conclusions if they are proved to be well-founded."
It should be stressed that there is no way to verify this information. It's good that Focus Home is taking the claims seriously, but we likely won't learn the entire truth behind this matter for some time. The games industr🦄y loves to silence those that speak out against serious issues like crunch, so everyone ♍involved has remained anonymous to ensure their own safety.
Still, the amount of evidence here is pretty damning. It appears that Limestone is attempting to profit off of the backs o⭕f others and doesn't care who it hurts to do so. For a title that looked so interesting and unique, that sucks to hear. I truly hope everyone involved can get the justice they deserve because nonsense like this has no place within any creative industry.
