It’s time for series and this one is red hot.
This series began in February with the titular Pokémon in this series kicking things off and will carry on through the fall. Now, to officially kick off the summer heat, The Pokémon Center aꦅnd Funko have released the Gen I fire-type, Flareon.
This loveable little hot head is having the time of its life flambéing a nice fruity snack for an afternoon with friends. This Funko Flareon seems to be very aware of its responsibility in preventing ༺forest fires as using the barren portion of its platform for the little bonfire. The signature bushy tail and head plumb are out in full force, and despite being captured in hard plastic it looks like it would feel perfectly soft and poufy. The little flame produced by this tough spit-fire is a translucent detail that adds the cherry to the top of this sweet figure. The theme of playing in a field is being kept up here, as we’ve seen the same grass and flowers in every figure so far—with Vaporeon settling into a bit of an elevated setting.
The entire list of whꦛat’s to come was released when the collection itself was announced, so there’s no surprise when these figures are put on the shelves, but it's still always a treat. With five Eeveelutions already released, there’s still a lot more adorable collectibles to come. Next month will see the release of psychic-type Espeon, who knows what that little purple critter will get up to in a field surrounded by friends.
