It looks like Rockstar is starting to distance itself from Agent as the publisher has now removed the game from the official Rockstar Games we📖bsite. Agent was announced as a PS3 exclusive back in 2009 but, for reasons unknown to the public, never saw the light of day. It now looks like Rockstar is pretending Ag🎶ent never even existed.

Agent's removal from was first discovered by Twitter user @CyberBlacks who posted an image of where Agent used to appear in the publisher's games catalog. Despite being announced over a decade ago, it turns out many people were still holding out hope for Agent to finally be released, with many in the replies upset but unsurprised.

We don't know much about Agent apart from the odd news story here and there, including the story that 168澳洲幸运5开🥃奖网:developer꧋s on Agent were held at gunpoint when scouting locations for the game in Cairo. Allegedly, the game came about after a deal between Rockstar and Microsoft allowed GTA 4 to launch on Xbox 360 when it was supposed to be a PS3 exclus🎶i🀅ve. Sony allowed the deal to pass but only if Rockstar developed an exclusive for the PS3. This turned out to be Agent.

Unfortunately for PlayStation fans, it's looking increasingly likely that Agent is never going to be released and that the game has been quietly canned by Rockstar. That being said, Rockstar still hasn't officially canceled Agent so there's the slimmest of slim chances that it could come out one day. It's pretty unlikely though.

In other Rockstar-related news, the announcement of the long-rumored GTA Remastered Trilogy looks increasingly likely as the game was recently 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:rated in Korea. Further evidence that an announcement is imminent is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a recent update to Rockstar's launcher which seems to be prepping for a sudden release. If we are going to get an announcement this year, it'll likely be during The Game Awards in December.
