Summary

  • Alan Wake 2's Lake House DLC finally has a release date, as fans will be able to jump into the expansion on October 22 next week.
  • From the trailer, we can see the The Lake House is far more horror-focused than previous Remedy experiences, and features a number of ghouls to fight.
  • We also see a short clip of Dylan Faden, the brother of Control protagonist Jesse faden, so we'll have to see how he ties into the story.

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Alan Wake 2 got its first DLC expansion earlier this year, bringing us three new stories and letting players take on the roles of Rose, Sheriff Breaker, and Jessie Faden from Control. It was a neat little detour, and one that 🍬allowed Rem༺edy to experiment with all kinds of themes and genres, but the game's second planned DLC promꩵises to be 🌜a lot spookier and grounded.

We knew before today that The Lake House would be launching at some point this O꧃ctober, though news about the expansion's plot has been pretty thin on the ground. The game's FAQ page on its official website didn't divulge too much info, , as all we know is that "something goes wrong" in a secret facility underneath Cauldron Lake and the Dark Place is once again in𒈔volved.

Thankfully, we don't have to wait too long to find out what exact🌜ly is going on, as it was announced during Xbox's latest P💞artner Preview showcase that Alan Wake 2's Lake House DLC will be launching on October 22 next week. That means we only have to wait five days before we get some more Alan Wake goodness, and the DLC's trailer has me itching to find out more.

Alan Wake 2: The Lake House Is Looking Very Spooky

From this very short trailer, we can already see that Remedy is going full horror, probably even more so than the base game. Paint creatures are slink🌺ing out of the walls, dead bodies are coming back to life, and there's blood pretty much everywhere. We also get a brief glimpse at what appears to be Control protagonist Jessie Faden's brother, Dylan Faden, at the end, so it'll be interesting to see how he ties into the story.

As for what's next for Alan Wake and Remedy as a whole, there are a number of projects the studio is currently working on. We know that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Control 2 is꧑ coming along quite nicely, as is the Max Payne 1 + 2 remake, which recently ente൲red the next stag🌼e of development. We don't know which one will be ready to shoot out the gates first, but I'm🅠 sure Remedy will be taking all the time they need to make sure they slap just as hard as the rest of its games.

Alan Wake 2 is the sequel to Remedy's hit survival horror game. It blends two separate stories into one, following FBI agent Saga Anderson as she investigates both a series of brutal murders and a story written by Wake himself.
