It is established that the darkness goes after creative types, but it's never really known exactly what it wants. We could say power, but for what ends does it want the ability to control these people?
What possible goal could a mysterious force have to make it do such heinous things? With the introduc🌟tion of the Hiss and a 🌼more beneficial force known as Pola♚ris, a conflict could be introduced between these unearthly entities.
2 🌳 What Type Of Power Does Alan Have Now?
The game ends with Alan being stuck in the Darkness, but he does not appear to be completely helpless. The AWE DLC from Control seems to imply that he can still manipulate events in the outside world with his writing. If he has such control over things, why can't he just write himself out of the Dark Presence?
