A far cry from the previous game in the Alien franchise, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a purely action-orientated experience based around teamwork. As part of this, the game currently offers six different classes to play whilst battling Xenomorphs. Five of these were included in the game's launch, and an additional class was later patched in with plans to bring in more classes and a greater variety of ways to approach missions.
Each class comes with its own abilities, perks, and 🌟weapon choices that leave your favorite class feeling like it makes an actual difference to your gameplay rather than just being a marketing gimmick. As this is the case, it makes sense to determine which classes you should think about trying out first rather than last. Here are the best classes in this new release in the Alien series.
Updated 25th October, 2022 by Matthew Mckeown: What better time than now to join the Col💜onial Marine Core. Another addition to the roster of Aliens Fireteam: Elite classes gave the Roughnecks a new playmate in the form of the Lancer, a Seasonal update brought a new mode and guns, plus the Pathogen DLC dropped adding a new campaign to blow through and creatures to blast apart.
There's a great variety of classes in Aliens: Fireteam Elite and the developers have teased yet more are to come. For first-timers dropping into the firefight, it can be tricky to figure out what soldier suits you best. So to make the job easier as the game’s development goes on, here's an updated look at all the classes in Aliens: Fireteam Elite, ranked.
7 Recon
A surprisingly support-heavy class, Recon is only unlocked after beating the four campaigns. Focused more on long-range combat, recon players carry a rifle and a CQW. The rifle will help to eliminate enemies before they pose a🍬 threat to your team and is very handy if your teammates are only carrying close-quarter weapons.
Furthermore, the recon supplements the damage classes by being able to deploy a support drone that replenishes ammo and increases their weapons stats. If you wish to support 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:your teammates, then this is the class to select, and this is lastly proven by the recon's PUPS ability. This reveals enemies that are nearby, allowing your team to properly manage/prepare for the situation you are in.
6 Phalanx
This hero was added post-launch in the season one update in September 2021 and represents the first additional class added into th💧e game. Like the technician before it, players of the phalanx class are equipped with a handgun and a CQW. As the name would suggest, their main ability is their collapsable shield. This acts as a mobile barrier to damage for the whole team. It is particularly useful when used when holding out in an area with large swarms of enemies.
Alongside this, when playing phalanx, be sure 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:not to miss the shock pulse ability that sends out an electric pulse 🐻that stuns and temporarily stops enemies. Although these abilities are very helpful in defensive and swarming situations, you are left wanting a bit more damage output to buff up the class.
5 ♒ꦕ Technician
Let's start with the positives; the technician's turret is very effective at softening up enemies at longer ranges. This supports the higher damage classes that thrive on taking down low-health aliens at medium to closer ranges. Building on this, the technician can help the team survive by using their 'Charged Coils', which slows down enemy movement and can be the difference between survival and death when used efficiently.
However, it does come with a few disadvantages. Equipped with a handgun and close-quarters weapon (CQW), it fails to do any sort of discernable damage unless the Xenomorphs are right on toꦦp of your team and puts too much reliance on your equipment rather than your own skills.
4 Demolisher 🐟
The demolisher class has a very heavy damage output, and this comes from the ability to be able to wield heavy weapons: machine guns, heavy flamethrowers, and rocket/grenade launchers. Alongside this, they have an ability called Blastwave which knocks out all nearby enemies for a few seconds. Fina🎃lly, they can launch micro rockets that home in on your targets for a guaranteed kill or incapacitation.
The demolisher class is able to function properly due to other members of your team, and it is the best class at dealing with the large swarms of enemies. This class is so powerful that a plan of action should be based around this class and its 🧸ability to clear rooms and reach checkpoints on their own.
3 Lancer
A railgun firing, special sniping powerhouse that provides big damage numbers when they hit then the Lancer is a great pic. They're absolutely perfect for those looking to melt the biggest Xenos on the block. Sporting a high-powered laser ability, damage scaling passive and a reload boost, in the right spot the Lancer can be a lifesaving defensive role or a solid support class.
For example, their Onslaught ability instantly reloads everyone's weapons and grants a firing speed boost, amplifying your team's damage and substantially increasing the number of rounds sent downrange. They’re not great on the frontline, but hanging around at the back picking off high-threat targets before they can get to the rest of the team can make certain missions an absolute breeze. With such versatility for your alien melting capabilities, it's almost mandatory to have at least one of these laser beam-launching lunatics in the squad.
2 Doc
The doc, as the name would suggest, is mainly designed for healing. The doc is useful in this regard and can also double as a high-damage class. Starting with the latter, they carry a rifle and handgun, which enableꦆs them to put out a serious amount of damage at longer ranges. This is an added bonus to their main funꦑction; to heal teammates.
Luckily for you, the doc is an effective healer and can activate a trauma station that heals all nearby allies, as well as using combat stim packs which increase all attributes relating to their weapon handling. This, once again, shows the doc's tendency to multi-task on the battlefield and is useful in both combat and healing scenarios.
1 Gunner
The most traditional class in the game, the gunner is a standard DPS class that will be comfoꩲrtable to jump into. This is not to say, however, that it is aℱ boring or slightly underwhelming class. The gunner has the widest variety of weapons to choose from and selects from a number of rifles/snipers/CQWs and the possibility of a flamethrower.
This variety enables the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:gunner class to be adapted ꦿfor any situation and can be used to make up for weaknesses in the rest of the squad relating to damage. Alongside this heavy DPS output are grenades - great for crowd control or buying some time - and the overclock ability, which increases your weapons fire rate for a short period of time. Overall, the gunner is the best pick if you are looking for a class that is solely focused on defeating enemies.
