The Burster is covered in a green glow. When it gets close, the Burster will explode in an acidic blast, damaging anyone nearby.

Fortunately, Bursters have similar health to the standard Xenomorphs, so you should be able to kill them before they get close.

Like Bursters, Spitters don't have much health and can be killed quickly with most weapons. They do prefer to attack from a distance, so you might want to switch to a long-range gun to be most effective.

As you get further into Aliens: Fireteam Elite, you will come across the Crusher. This is a larger Xeno with an armored head, which it uses to ram you during encounters.

However, this exposes a key weakness. If you avoid the Crusher's charge and let it run past, you will be able to shoot at its back. Take this opportunity to blast the Crusher in the back with everything that you've got and you should be able to deal plenty of damage.

What Are Facehuggers In Aliens: Fireteam Elite?

Unlike the Crusher, Facehuggers are small and quick. They won't latch on to your face permanently as they do in the Alien movies, but they will drain your health fast.

Thankfully, Facehuggers are relatively weak, so you won't need to waste much ammo on them. As you explore areas, you will find Facehugger eggs scattered around that you can destroy to stop them from spawning.

What Is The Praetorian In Aliens: Fireteam Elite?

The Praetorian is the most difficult Xenomorph that you will face - except the Alien Queen that appears at the end of Aliens: Fireteam Elite, which we'll cover next.

Like the Drone and Warrior, the Praetorian is an armored, bipedal Xeno that will charge at you and unleash quick melee attacks.
