For those '90s horror game lovers out there, we present to you Alisa, which is on its way to the Nintend🌃o Switch, Xbox, PlayStation, as well as PC.

It's a "classic late-90s horror-themed action-adventure game" that clearly lies somewhere between third person fixed-camera giants of that era,  and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Silent Hillwith a sprinkling of the more recent Alice: Madness Returns for good measure.

The impressive part is that Alisa is the brainchild of single-person developer Casper Croes. Croes fired up a  late in May this year which has since been successfully completed, having surpassed its original goal of €20,000 (about $23,000) and accumulating a final total of €28,816. Originally, Alisa was dest𝕴ined f🍒or PC only, but support for the Switch and other consoles was added as a stretch goal of €25,000.

Backers were obviously pretty determined to drive the whole nostalgic '90s console horror game feel home. Indeed, it seems Croes wanted to bring Alisa to consoles from the beginning, but the priority was on actually finishing the game more than working on additional console sup♎port. But now that'll be possible anyway. Yay!

Apparently, most of the funding raised from the campaign will actually go towards helping to support the game's sole developer with (somewhat necessary) personal expenses like food and rent. Ideally that'll ease up a good chunk of Croes' primary burdens and leave more room for development of Alisa. But in addition to that, a portion of the funding will go towards hiring voice actors for the game, 𝓀too.

The game lets you play as Alisa - an Elite Royal Agent - as she navigates her way out of an old Victorian mansion whilst being stalked by some "materialized/mechanized doll-like humanoids." Judging from , the gam🍸e features some imagery that is actually pretty damn disturbing, and oh so delightful for any ho💛rror fan.

In terms of timeframes, Croes believes that another year of development is needed to reach the game's completion. But with the state of the world as it is now and the fluidity of indie release windows regardless of a global pandemic, we're left only with a tentative May 2021 ꦺdate, subject to change.

For now꧟, you can at least wishlist the game on , and even play through a demo .
