Amazon's New World finally launched this week, and its one and only issue right now is that too many people want to play it.

Following a number of delays, Amazon's biggest leap yet into the wide world of video games New World launched on Tuesday. The game appears to be going down just as well as it did during its beta with a lot of people eager to give New World a go. In fact, there was a point during its first day on Steam that New World𓆉 had more than 700,000 concurrent players.

Therein lies what has been the only major problem for Amazon and its new MMORPG so far. Too many people want to play it. That might sound like a welcome problem to have, and in some ways it is. However, New World currently has a limited number of servers at its disposal, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:𓂃those servers are capped at 2000 players each.

That means a lot of people are being left in New World's queues for a very long time. Some have reported waiting for hours, and it is understandably souring their experience. So much so that New World is . Despite no one having much bad to say about the game other than the queues, its overall reviews on Steam are currently mixed.

You don't have to scroll far to find evidence of all the above. User reviews questioning how a company like Amazon can have server issues are pretty plentiful. Another detailed their long wait in a queue only to be booted from it and return 2000 spots further back than they had been after an almost three-hour wait.

Amazon has been updating players regularly through social media, issuing a lengthy statement on Tuesday letting people know it is doing all it can to get everyone playing as quickly as possible. That will include additional servers and current ones being expanded to higher capacities. That all needs to be tested first, but it sounds as if it's all hands on deck right now and hopefully those queue times start decreasing in the coming hours and days.
