So, that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Xbox Series X we saw༺ l♋ast night at AMD’s keynote address? It was fake.
Folks are desperate for more information on the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Xbox Series X, the upcoming next-gen console from Microsoft. We know it will certainly be better than the Xbox One X, the current best console from Microsoft, and that it will feature some 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:incredibly fast load-times and even support for 8K graphics. What we don’t know is just what exactly t𝕴he box will look like.
Microsoft’s official images show a general mockup of the console but none of the specifics. Where’s the power button? What kind of ports will it have? Does it support USB-C or USB-A? Will we still have to keep flipping that damn USB plug over and over agai♓n until it finally decides on an orientation that it likes?
We thought our questions migh🌠t have been answered last night at AMD’s keynote address during the opening night of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). AMD is already confirmed to be tꩵhe official chipmaker for the Xbox Series X (as well as the PS5, but that’s a different story), so it made sense for AMD to have some inside info on what the final Xbox Series X might look like.
What we saw were 2 USB-C plugs, 2 HDMI ports, an ethernet port, an auxiliary audio jack🌳, and more. Disc lovers were pleased to see the Blu-Ray drive and ejection button would survive for another gener💜ation. There was just one problem.
It was all fake.
AMD later admitted to Th🐈e Verge that the 3D render they used for their keynote video wasn’t actually sourced from Microsoft. It was sourced from , a digital marketing company that sells 3D graphics and 🔥models at extremely reasonable prices. AMD needed something more detailed than Microsoft was willing to provide, so AMD reached out to a third party for something they could use in their CES video.
You can ꦜsee the Turbosquid image above. It’s very detailed and might even be exactly what the Xbox Series X eventually looks like--they based their decisions on already-released info from Microsoft, after all. Or it might not. We’ll find out when the Xbox Series X arrives for the holidays in 2020.
