Epic is still giving away free games, with this week’s arrivals being Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Crashlands.

You couldn’t have picked more equally opposing games. Amnesia is a first-person immersive horror fest, whereas Crashlands is a ꦦcutesie 2D action RPG. Both are free on the Epic Games Store to keep for the next week.

was an instant classic horror game when it first came out back in 2010. With limited controls and few options for the player to fight back against the dark terrors that befall them, Amnesia did what few games truly can: scare the crap out of the player. So many modern horror games use Amnesia: The Dark Descent as their basis, and Frictional Games is set to continue the Amnesia franchise this fall with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Amnesia: Rebirth.

is an indie game from Butterscotch Shenanigans, a studio founded in 2012 by three brothers. They've since made quite a few games that cross many genres, with Crashlands being a crafting-focused action RPG.

In Crashlands, you play as Flux Dabes, a g🌸alactic trucker who recently got his cargo (and ship) stolen, leaving him stranded on an alien planet. 😼Flux then has to craft his way to survival while also fighting off alien beasts--or perhaps taming a few to become your dark army of the night. The emphasis here is on quirky humor and an extensive 500 recipe crafting system with RPG progression.

Both these games are available until May 7. After that, puzzle game will be available from May 7 to May 14. In Death Coming, you play as the Grim Reaper trying to outright murder people using common everyday objects. Or sometimes a large bilᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚlboard--whatever is convenient at the time.

And after that, well, we’ll just have to w𝔉ait and see what Epic comes up with.
