Given that the game centers so much around creating the perfect island, it's no wonder that picking the right inhabitants for the island is a central part of the game for fans.
Deer🦂 villagers are particularly popular because of how adorable th♎ey look. Among them are also a few fan-favorite villagers, which is why this category is so well-loved. But which deer villagers should you opt for? While there are no bad options, there are some you might favor over others because of their charming appearance, unique personalities, and distinct house interiors.
Updated on May 11, 2023, by Casey Foot: Animal Crossing: New Horizon's 2.0 update introduced another deer villager to the already adorable roster. As such, we've added them to the overall deer villager ranking, so you can see where they fall in the grand scheme of things. If you're having difficulty choosing which deer villagers to invite to your island, perhaps we can help you decide.
12 Bruce
As a Cranky villager, Bruce might take a little while to warm up to you because of his hardened attitude, but he's truly a softie on the inside when you get to know him. Bruce has questionable interior design sensibilities, though, as his house interior looks like the back alley of a city, which is a very specific aesthetic. However, if you have a city-themed island, he'd fit right in.
Appearance-wise, Bruce has a consistent and clear style but is less deer-like than most𓂃 other d🍬eer villagers. His horns are curved, which makes him look more like a goat, and the pattern on his face is also reminiscent of a gazelle.
11 Fuchsia
Fuchsia matches the bright color of her name, with a vibrant pink coat, blue details on her nose and ears, and brightဣ yellow bangs. She also has a great sense of style, sporting ear piercings and purple eye makeup to complement her color scheme. As a Sisterly villager, Fuchsia is extremely likable and will take you under her wing if you invite her to your island.
If you're looking for a more natural-looking deer, Fuchsia might not be the best option, but she'll bring a dash of color to your island, as well as some 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:cool older sister vibes. Unfortunately, her house interior doesn't quite correspond with her personality, as it's red and brown themed rather than her signature pink.
10 Zell
Zell's name in English no doubt comes from the word 'gazelle,' which is the subspecies he represents. However, Zell also has a striped facial pattern similar to the blackbuck antelope, and his horns spiral similarly to these animals. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:As a Smug villager, Zell will usually b🦩e very nice and polite ꧙towards other characters, but he can also show some arrogance.
His house is a modern penthouse-style room, which certainly fits Zell's suave personality and design. He has a grand piano, billiard table, and a phonograph, so he's ready to entertain any guests he might have.
9 Lopez
Similar to Zell, Lopez is a 'deer' villager that represents another animal - the gazelle. Lopez has an orange and cream coat paired with blue-gray accents and splashes of bright pink on his eyes, resembling eyeliner. Lopez's design is representative of the species he's evoking and distinctive.
His Smug personality means that he's sure to be a talkative member of your island community, boasting about his achievements to impress you whenever he can. His house interior is simple yet refined, similar to Lopez himself, favoring ironwood furniture.
8 Chelsea
Chelsea is a special villager released with the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Sanrio amiibo card collection pack. As such, Chelsea's appearance is heavily inspired by Sanrio's My Melody. She has a white coat and a yellow nose and wears a pink headband with bunny ears to represent My Melody herself. Her default outfit is the My Melody shirt to tie the theme together.
Chelsea's house interior similarly showcases her love for My Melody and presents her as something of a superfan. If you like My Melody, she's certainly the ideal deer villager to have, but if you're not all that into pink, it might be a bit too much.
7 Bam
Considering that Bam's character design is mostly blue, he looks very aesthetically pleasing thanks to his big eyes and his tiny freckles. As a Jock, he has an ambitious and energetic personality, which is sure to brighten up the day of just about any other villager or you yourself.
Bam's house interior is an example of one that has a thematic idea, as it resembles a sports recreational room, something that is definitely in line with Bam's personality and enthusiasm for all things sports. If you're prepared to do thousands of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:laps around your island, Bam is a good villager to have.
6 Deirdre
Another Sisterly villager, Deirdre has a fairly consistent character design that favors a brown color scheme, as well as pink details on her cheeks and ears. With her personality type, she'll also take care of you and help you when needed, which will only enhance your experience on the island.
Deirdre's house also has a warm autumnal theme, which many players will definitely appreciate. Her house interior looks as though it's situated inside a fairy-tale-like forest, with fallen leaves all around and lots of mushroom-themed furniture.
5 Erik
Erik is a northern-style moose with big eyes and cute antlers that set him apart from the rest of the deer villagers. He's a Lazy villager, so he'll always be ready for sharing snacks with you — if you don't catch him during his naptime.
Erik also has one of the coolest houses since it features furniture made out of ice and the ski slope wallpaper, making it look as though he's living on a snowy mountain. The exterior of his house also looks exactly like a log cabin, so whatever the season, Erik will bring a little winter magic to your island.
4 Beau
One of the most popular deer villagers in the entire game, Beau's charm comes precisely from his name — he has an endearing appearance that resembles an antelope. There isn't a lot going on with his character design, but that ends up being his main strength. His orange color gives him an adorable cartoony look, and his constantly half-closed eyes make him look sleepy — something that's in line with his Lazy personality.
Beau's house resembles a log cabin, with an interior representing his love for food and the outdoors. The flooring is reminiscent of a grassy meadow, and in the center, there's a picnic blanket with two food hampers. You certainly wouldn't leave Beau's house on an empty stomach.
3 Diana
Diana's Snooty personality means she's inclined to gossip and can come across as superficial; however, she'll be a loyal friend to you on the island once you take the time to get to know her. There's no denying that she has a great character design that's consistent and fits her personality perfectly.
The pastel colors look particularly good, complementing her overall white coat, and the small details, such as her eyelashes and blushy cheeks, give her a classy look. Her house is also pretty interesting, with a Roman bath-type theme. There is also a large clam bed and a huge 𝓀luxury bathtub.
