Now, to add to that long list of tiny details, one player has discovered that the ants in the bug exhibit of Blather's museum are able to esc🐽ape their tank.

Reddit user sharkmortal was able to spot an army of ants marching down a wall and, a couple of feet to the right, up the counter of the cafete🌠ria section of the museum.

As can be seen above screenshot, the player's villager stands at the window of the cafeteria. This is to the right of the ant tank, which shows the ants going down the wall and up the counter in the cafeteria. It isn't obvious where the ants are entering the cafeteria. However, as sharkmort♉al points out, the coffee seems to be a motivation for the ants' escape.

And perhaps this is for the best too - or at least for the museum's owner. While completionist players are likely trying to complete their bug collection as quickly as possible, Blathers isn't too fond of bugs.
