Today's Animal Crossing focussed Nintendo Direct gave us an extended look at Brewster in New Horizons, after his return was confirmed last month.
As with previous games, players will be able to purchase a coffee, 24 hours a day, slowly building u♐p a rapport with the quiet barista. Sure, there is no actual in-game buffs to having your daily coffee, but it makes the pigeon happy and looks really cosy.
As ever, coffee sets yo♊u back 200 bells. The layout is the same as ever, making it a nostalgic addition for longtime fans of 💖the series.
Island residents will also swing by for a coffee, with Amiibo functionality allowing you to invite certain chaꦗracters. You can also invite friends over to enjoy a coffee at the same time.
The update is scheduled to roll out November 5. It's not yet known if Nintendo has anything up its sleeve for the game's second birthday in a few months time, but with updates hopefully becoming a bit more frequent now, fans should be on the lookout for news.
