Hellmann's Canada has teamed up with , a Canadian food rescue charity, to turn spoiled turnips into donated meals. Second Harvest is Canada's lar♋gest food rescue charity that recovers unsold food and redistributes it to over 1000 social service organizations across the country. Those organizations include school programs, seniors’ centers, shelters, food banks, anꦓd regional food hubs. The service is completely free to use or donate to and uses an online platform to link donations with hungry mouths.
It's also great for thꩲe environment since all ⛎that food would have just gone into a landfill.
Anyway, Hellmann's will introduce Hellmann's Island to the world by accepting donations of spoiled turnips. For every turnip you've let go to waste, drop it off on Hellmann's island and Hellmann's will donate one meal to Second Harvest. Their goal is to get at least 25,000 spoiled turnips, and since the Turnip market is definitely still a massive concern in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, this probably won't take too long.
