The long-awaited November updateꦍ has finally been released — sooner than anyone expe🅺cted. Many players will be running to the Museum right away t🐷o visit The Roost and meet Brewster, an NPC that has been highly requested by fans since thꦬe launch of New Horizons.
Some of you might remember this coffee-loving pigeon from previous Animal🐼 Crossing𝓰 titles such as Wild World and New Leaf. Brewster and his cafe won't be in the Museum straight away. Some work is required to recruit him. Here are the steps you need to follow to have Brewster come to your island and serve his piping hot coffee.
Make Sure You've Upgraded Blather's Tent
This might seem obvious, but with so many players restarting their progress ahead of the update, it's important not to miss it. Upgrade to the Museum building or Brewster😼 will have nowhere to set up shop. If you're behind after resetting, don't worry too much. It only takes two days to upgrade the Museum, and in the meantime, you can save up bells and other useful resources.
Have Enough Progress To Unlock New Features
Even after you've built the Museum, you might still be wondering why you don't have the option to build The Roost yet. You'll need to either donate one of each fossil, bug, and fish or unlock the art gallery. To do the latter, check around your island each day until Redd appears.
Correctly identify the genuine art he's selling among all his counterfeit wares and purchase it. It'll arrive in your mailbox the next day. You can then hand it over to Blathers. He will be thrilled to announce the construction of the art gallery, which will be located at the top of the stairs.
Speak To Blathers
If you're playing the same island you've had since the update's release, then bringing Brewster to your island should be more straightforward. 16𓆉8澳洲幸运5开奖网:Visit the Museum and chat w꧃ith Blathers. He'll have some new dialogue for you and will get the ball rolling when it comes to recruiting Brewster. He mentions wanting to track down an old friend and gives you the task of finding him. He even gives you a photo of Brewster so you know who to look for.
See Kapp'n For A Boat Tour
You might remember from Isabelle's announcement that you can now go on a new type of tour. Find the wooden dock on your island and meet Kapp'n, who you can find relaxing in his boat.
For 1,000 Nook Miles per trip, he'll take you to a random island once a day. Make sure you speak to Blathers before going on this trip or you'll have to wait until the next day to have a chance of finding Brewster.
Track Down Brewster On A Mystery Island
After you've been serenaded by Kapp'n, he'll drop you off on an island similar to those you can visit by seaplane with your Nook Miles Tickets. Hop off the boat and get exploring. Somewhere, you'll bump into Brewster dressed up in his explorer's hat and jacket. Approach him and pass on the message from Blathers. He'll say that he'll see you on your island soon. After you've gathered all the resources you want, it's time to head back home.
Don't Forget The Gyroids
Excitement over meeting the famous barista in person may have distracted you from noticing a new feature that Brewster mentions. He asks if you're looking for gyroids too. Players familiar with the series will remember gyroids as unique tiny dancing statues with faces that you could diꩵg up. In the November New Horizons update, gyroids have had a makeover to be more aesthetically pleasing than ever. Collect them all by digging up fragments and watering them. The next day you'll unearth a fully formed gyroid. You can find a fragment on the same island as Brewster under the same mark on the ground that usually indicates fossils.
Report Your Success
It's not immediately clear what you have to do next after finding Brewster: you must go back to Blathers and tell him how your search went. He will be thrilled to hear that Brewster is willing to open The Roost. Blathers will tell you that the Museum will be closed for construction the next day and so you'll have to store your fossils for a while. You can now look forward to seeing Brewster and his cafe as soon as preparations are complete.
An Exciting Announcement From Isabelle
Upon loading up your game the following day you'll be delighted to learn that, instead of talking about her lost sock or crossword puzzle, Isabelle is making an important announcement.
The Roost has been added to the Museum and is ready for you to visit. You might even see Isabelle there, if Tom Nook lets her take a breakꦅ.
The Roost Is Open
At last, after hunting down Brewster and counting down the days until the update, you can enter The Roost yourself. Settle down at a counter seat whilst Brewster pours you a hot cup of coffee for only 200 bells. You can order as much as you like. However, Brewster will warn you that drinking too much is a bad idea. Enjoy the cozy ambiance and take a break from running around making bells — you've earned it.
Celebrate The Much-Anticipated Museum Expansion
Don't forget to hold a ceremony for the Museum's newest addition. You can do this by speaking to Tom Nook at Resident Services and asking to hold a ceremony just as you would for any constructed incline or bridge. You'll find yourself gathered outside the Museum with some of your villagers and Tom Nook, as well as Blathers and Brewster. They'll thank you for all of your hard work. You can take some photos of the event and make memories that you can look back on and remember the day that Brewster and The Roost became a feature on your island.
