Animal Crossing is a beloved gam🍨e franchise that has provided millions of fans with hours of relaxing fun. While you're pulling weeds, catching bugs, and hoarding bells it's easy to forget that you're technically the mayor of the town, at least in New Leaf.
Public service is often secondary to just kidding around but mayoral duties eventually butt in. While wandering around in the game players meet and interact with villagers. Not all of them are as sweet as their idyllic surroundings. Some of the vi🌞llagers in the game are downright unpleasant. Here are the 10 grumpiest, ranked.
Updated by Madison Lennon on March 22, 2020: Cranky/grumpy villagers are a big part of the Animal Crossing world. They have existed since the first iteration of the game and still do in the newest one. However, they have gotten a little more tame over the years.
People who played the games in the early days know just how vicious the villagers could be at times. We decided to revisit this list and update it with a couple more cranky villagers who could seriously freak you out with their rage from time to time.
15 Curt
A lot of fans love Curt because he's a big grumpy bear and e𓆉veryone needs that energy in their town sometimes. For instance, in the above image, Curt and Portia are shown arguing about which one of them is scarier than the other.
It's that sort of endearing spirit that makes the game so fun and makes you realize that cranky villagers take their intimidation factor very seriously. Even🔥 Curt's name is befitting of his personality si෴nce the term "curt" is used to refer to people that are being sharp or blunt.
14 Camofrog
Camofrog is a fan-favorite that has appeared in all of the Animal Crossing games so far. People love him because of his appearance and because he has an attitude, as most cranky vil𒐪lagers do. The above quote is a perfect example of how hi🥃larious and carefree Camofrog is.
The dude just doesn't care much about anything, which means he's more relaxed than some of the other cranky villagers running around. Who hasn't wanted to wave their hands in the air as if they just didn't care because they really, truly, don't care?
13 Del
There are zero reasons for Del's crabby attitude, and his unpleasantness furthers harmful alligator stereotypes. His official skill is subsistence ling yet he has the same resource gobbling house as everyone else in town. Del's annoyed facial expression is irksome. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:He seems to have a bad attit✃ude i🍨n general. You won't see him paling around with too many preppy💜 villagers.
12 Mint
Mint is so self-absorbed and covertly rude that she comes across as a narcissist. When you first meet this pastel squirrel her stuck up, arrogant attitude is a bit overwhelming. As you get to know her more her edges soften but they only reveal the core of her snooty personality. Warming up to int is a chilly experience. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:While her words are sweet, there's subtle rudeness to everything she says. She also ✨loves to judge other vill♐agers.
11 Vladimir
The term bear is often used to describe unpleasant or aggressive people. It seems like an unfair slight against bears until you meet Vladimir. This Russian cub is as salty as they come. He spends his day gossiping about the other villagers and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:perfecting his belly dance game.
He's incredibly cranky. Negativity is infused into his very essence. If that sounds like𒁏 an exaggeration consider that his catchphrase is the word "no." Vladimir brings veryᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ little to the table aside from his flashy fashion sense.
10 Limberg
Surprisingly for a mouse, Limberg has a lot of pent-up aggression. Maybe it is because he is named after one of the sti💫nkiest cheeses in existence. Still, he is a popular character an🌌d has been in the franchise for a long time.
It is no🦄 wonder that someone pulled a prank on Limberg involving one of the game's infamous pitfall seeds. The person who did this had a lot of nerve, Limberg definitely seems like the type of villager who knows how to hold a vicious grudge.
9 Diana
Many players have had enough of this snooty deer. Her incredible fashion sense does little to make up for her sarcastic comments and poor attitude. Diana isn't afraid to criticize other's outfits in the most condescending terms possible. She 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:talks a big game for someone who's only official skill is writing aboꦕut pickles. She's afraid of the seasonal monster mask. If you've been hurt by this rude doe you could always give her a little scare for revenge. Diana thi🍷nks she's sophisticated but the essence of class is making the people around you comfortable.
8 Octavian
Octavian is another villager who just lookꦐs grumpy based on his facial features alone. He has a majorly furrowed brow and is a flaming red color. He fits the description of an angry octopus perfectly, especially since h𓄧e is named after a notable Roman emperor.
In the above image, it looks like a player happened to catch a fish that Octavian was eying for himse🅠lf (🐠maybe for dinner) and instead the gamer got to it before him, making him quite enraged. He'll be holding on to that anger for a while.
7 Wolfgang
This cranky wolf is a menace. He demonstrates self-awareness when he describes himself as abrasive but he also asks players for fashion advice to make him more approachable. No sweater vest can make up for a terrible personality. Expecting someone else to take responsibility for your negative attitude is toxic. It's a little narcissistic to expect the mayor of your town to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:help you choose a t-shirt that makes you seem le🍌ss like a jerk. Maybe he should smile more.
6 Phyllis
Visiting the post office with a cluttered mailbox is like living through the cringiest part of an episode of Hoarders. Phyllis has elected herself the arbiter of how much mail is appropriate 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:for each person to hold onto. The postal service is the last place a person e꧙xpects to be judged.
If all that postage is being paid for what's the big complaint? Should a player's feelings be hurt by Phyllis' unsolicited comments using the sorrow emote will elicit laughter from this disgrun🍒tled postal worker. Lighten up, Phyllis. Getting the mail doesn't have to be a traumatic experience.
