If you have a picnic scene, this can be a cute addition to it, like your villagers wanted to stop the bug from eating their food, but didn't want to hurt it. Or where an artist is set up, looking to paint these little ones.

To catch a fly, you need to leave garbage around your island. If you don't see one appear, you can let turnips spoil and both flies and ants will appear on and near them.

6 🉐 Goldfish, Ranchu Goldfish, ෴And Pop-Eyed Goldfish

These three types of goldfish have identical displays, meaning you don't have to catch them all or wait for a specific one if you don't want to. They make their home in beautiful, decorative bowls filled with water.

These white bowls with blue painting would fit right into a display in your villager's home. And you can place them outside in any area you like or you'd want to keep your new fish pet.

5 Cricket, Bell Cricket, And Grasshopp🌼er

Perhaps the cutest of the display cases is the small, wooden crates that house the cricket, bell cricket, and grasshopper. There's really no difference between the three in terms of the cases themselves other than different colored handles, so it boils down to which bug you'd rather have displayed.

These would look great in your home, but c⛎an be just as easily integrated into an outside display or scene of your creation. Though you mayꦓ want to help Blathers out by finding a place far from the Museum.

4 Seaweed

Seaweed is considered a sea creature you can dive for, although not a creature at all. And, because it isn't one, there's zero need for something to display it in.

However, you can place seaweed anywhere on your island. You can plop some down around your beaches to give them a very realistic fe🐎el. Or near a research🌞 site, a fishing spot, or anywhere similar you craft.

This is another༺ sea creature you can catch while swimming around your island. Similar to seaweed, they have no enclosure and can be placed anywhere around your island.

Different from seaweed, however, you can interact with this crab once you place it. When you approach it and press 'A' it will roll over onto it's back, its legs moving as it lays like this.

2 Snap♐ping Turtle

Unlike the Soft Shell Turtle, the Snapping Turtle cannot be contained. That is to say, it doesn't have a display case or crate. It can be placed anywhere.

You can keep them as if they were pets around your house. Or, you could instead place them outside in🍒 the wild, in a pin, or any way you can dream up.

The scary and massive Spider Crab does not have a cage, instead is completely free. When you place one on your island, they move and shift, making for 🐓an intimidating display.

Of course, they seem most at home on the beaches of your island, but they can be placed on grass or in your home. You could even have them near your airport, greeting people as they land at your island's entrance.
