If you've never played an Animal Crossing game before, then New Horizons may feel overwhelm꧋ing. Suddenly, you're in charge of an entire island, overseen only by Tom Nook, who just seems to want you to get into increasing amounts of debt to him and buy things from the store he forces his nephews to run. However, there is so much to do and enjoy and we're here to help you make the most of it.

Pitching Your Tent

First, you'll need to pitch your tent. You won't be able to move this for a long while, and not at all if yo🐓u don't purchase certain items, so think carefully about its placement. You'll alsoಞ need to help your two villager neighbors set up camp, so consider your proximity to each other.

If you want a true community feel you can pitch closer together, but you may find you want a gard🧔en. If so, just make sure you've left room for it. You'll be in charge of where everything is placed and it starts here.

🎶The plaza is fixed, as is the airport, and you'll need to access both frequently, as well as stores and the museum. We recommend being reasonably close to the plaza, but not on top of it to allow yourself space to grow some trees around your home for easy access to wood and fruit.

Gathering The Basics

The ne✱xt thing to worry about is tools. This is a process, but it can be 💦followed through in a few days. The main thing is to keep talking to Tom Nook. He will offer quests that will allow you to gain all the basic tools you'll need to gather resources from your island.

Taking his DIY workshop gives you a net and fis🔜hing rod, and your tool collection will grow over the next few days as you complete quests to build a storౠe and museum.

You can check our other quick guides for more details about how to get a shovel and access fossils, as well as the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:vaulting pole and ladder that will allow you coꦛmplete ac🗹cess to all of your island.

Priorities

When you first begin, your prioꩵrities 💞will depend on your aims. However, we recommend trying to complete the quests to unlock all the tools as soon as possible. This means talking to Tom Nook and bringing him bugs or fish, building a store for his nephews to run, and finding the best spots for new villagers to live.

𒆙These quests will require resources - lots of them.🍎 The worst is collecting 30 iron nuggets for the store. So, if you want a shop quickly then save those nuggets!

Each day, you can hit the five rocks on your island. Four will yield nuggets and one will give you bells. If you can manage to hit them several times in short succession then you'll gain maximum resources. Just make sure yoꦗu don't eat your fruit beforehand or you'll be strong enough to smash the rocks. They will respawn the next day, but you may waste resources if you destroy them instead of mining them.

Digging two holes behind you will ensure you have the highest chance of achieving optimum success, as they will prevent you from be🦩ing thrown back. Just make sure the holes are behind where the money𝓀 and resources will land. Later on, you can build a fence, which is more efficient and can be left in place.

Tips & Tricks

The island itself is random. The game offers a choice of four layouts, each with a native fruit and two villagers. If you don't like your options, reset and go again. Once ♒you start properly, you won't be able to change these basic options.

If you don't object to some creative cheating, then 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:time travel is your frie🉐nd. You can use this to quickly run through the early quests and un🔜lock your basic tools, facilities, and island access.

On Sundays, Daisy Mae visits in the morning, selling turnips. If you want to make a profit, you need to read up on the risks and rewards of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:playing the turnip market, also known as the stalk market.

Make sure you pay off your 5,000 mile d🍷ebt to Tom Nook as quickly as possible. Doing this allows you to unlock the other quests you'll need to grow your island. The miles can be racked up by fishing, gathering, visiting, bug catching, selling, and chatting to your neighbors.

The main thing is to have fun and 🌞not worry about what other players are up to. The best pace is what works well for you. So, figure out what𝓀 you enjoy and don't worry about anyone else.
