New Sea Creatures

It'll be a relatively quiet time on the new sea creature front next month, with only one new critter arriving on Northern hemisphere islands, and two on Southern hemisphere islands.

Catching sea creatures in New Horizons works a bit differently compared to fish. To do so, you will first need a Wet Suit, because you're going diving! Once you've equipped it, dive into the ocean and watch out for bubbles and shadowy silhouettes. When you find one, dive down, and perhaps you'll emerge with one of the following:

Northern Hemisphere

  • Lobster - Swimming speed: Fast | Shadow Size: Large | Times: All day | Price: 4,500 Bells

Southern Hemisphere

  • Gazami crab - Swimming speed: Slow | Shadow Size: Medium | Times: All day | Price: 2,200 Bells
  • Tiger prawn - Swimming speed: Medium | Shadow Size: Small | Times: 4 PM-9 AM | Price: 3,000 Bells

All these creatures will be hanging around your respective islands for the whole month of December, after which some might leave, others will stay, and new species will be arriving to usher in the new 🍬year!
