One of the best parts of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Animal Crossing is undoubtedly the player's neighbours. Many players will reset their towns, go on countless Mystery Island tours, and purchase real-life Amiibo cards just to get the villager they love. Part of what makes the characters in this game so loveable is their dialogue: at one moment a character can be wise, adult, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:frighteningly realistic. At other moments, they🌊 act like ridiculous children who need to be supervised𝓀.
In any case, the dialogue of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Animal Crossing: New Horizons is an absolute treat, with Nintendo's writing and localization team clearly putting 110% into their games to keep us coming back for more. Here are 10 quotes from New Horizons characters you might have missed.
Updated July 13th, 2020 by Hayley Mullen: With multiple free updates being added to New Horizons by Nintendo, new dialogue related to events and deeper friendships with villagers are discovered by players every day. For a game as charming as Animal Crossing, hilarity is never in short supply, so enjoy these extra quotes from adorable animals.
15 The Saddest Superher🌃o
This conversation is triggered when a fellow villager is "in boxes" and ready to move out that day. Talking to a Lazy villager such as Papi will have them mention how upset they are that their friend is moving ⭕out. In fact, Papi is so sad that he feels his superhero name should be "Sad-Man," a superhero whose powers are most likely only good for making themselves sad. It does raise some questions, though; was he already a superhero but under a different name, such as Snacking-Man? The world may never know.
14 ꦰCaffeinated To The Max
This slightly alarming dialogue comes from Peppy villagers like Flora who will ask the plaꦗyer what day it is. Not bothering to hear their response, she assumes they don't know either and then mentions her massive caffeine binge tꩲhree days ago (though who knows if it's been three days). Either Flora has been microdosing her coffee all along, or she might be having a manic episode. Whichever one is true, we're worried about her.
13 Rosie's Traps 🍒 ☂
This dialogue may occur if the player had their shovel out while initiating a💛 conversation with Peppy villagers like Rosie. She interrogates the player's intentions with the shovel, worried about "what you might find," which seems to imply Rosie has not just skeletons in her closet, but bodies in six feet 🌄under.
Thankfully, she goes on to reveal her master plan of planting 73 pitfall traps around the en🌼tire island. Has Rosie been the one planting pitfall traps in the games this whole time? It's a good thing she's so lovable and cute.
12 That's Art™ 𒆙
Villagers can truly be goofy sometimes, and Papi has his fair share of oddball moments. If the villager has done some land terraforming recently, the lazy villager will comment on it, wishing they could sculpt cliffs and be a "cool cliff-sculpting guy." He then goes on to share his artistic vision: a cliff one thousand stories high in the image of a dragon eating a car full of sharks. Of course, art is subjective, but Papi is utterly convinced that everyone will see his creation the way he sees it: with admiration and awe. Here's hop♋ing!
11 Maybe Not ⛎The P🎶erfect Gift
This rarꦍe gem of dialogue comes from lazy villagers in the days leading up to a fellow villager's birthday. Here, Sherb ponders what to get his neighbor Apollo for his birthday. Unfortunately, his "thinking of others" skills are a bit lacking and he can only think of gifts he himself would want.
Sherb may not be the best at gift-giving, but it's the thoughtꦺ that counts. And who doesn't like apple cobbler?
10 How𝄹 Do You Like Them Apples?
This odd advice comes from any Peppy villager(s) the player may talk to on their island. In this cas﷽e, Flora the flamingo tells the player to "grab a few hundred apples" and create a strange apple-bobbing bathtub experience to improve their mental and spiritual state. It is unknown if the type of fruit changes depending on the player's native fruit (apples for this island), but regardless, the advice is certainly eccentric enough to come from a Peppy villager like Flora.
Can you fit hundreds of apples in a single bathtub? Apparently, Flora has, and the implication🃏 of her eating all the apples to escape from the tub is frankly ridiculous.
9 ✨ The Hero We Need 🤡
As all players begin New Horizons with one Sisterly viꦛllager and one Jock villager, there is a good chance of having witnessed this goofy line from their Jock before. Here, Rowan the tiger Jock talks about flu season and how his powerful muscles can "scare away the germs". While we're not too sure about the science behi𓄧nd that, it is reassuring to know that Rowan is looking out for us, along with all the other Jock villagers.
8 Lazy To The Bone ♌
True to their lazy nature, Lazy villagers such as Papi will sometimes talk to the player about their horrifying experience with work in the town square, where Resident Services are. This brಌings several different things into question: How did Papi afford to move onto the island? How old is Papi? Since Lazy villagers can act particularly silly and childish at times, it is a wonder how they manage their own household all day.
All questions aside, we can't help but agree, Papi. If only we could play Animal Crossing all day...
7 🤡 Two Stars, ♒Sitting On A Red Couch
Peppy villagers are often obsessed with becoming a pop star, while Smug villagers such as Curlos are intent on becoming movie stars. Smug villagers will occasionally mentio🌠n their acting agent or waiting for a callback, while this cute dialogue will come from visiting the villager's house.
Curlos remarks on how both of them are hanging out, cramming so much talent in the same room. He seems very sure that he and the player's friendship will be the stuff of movies, saying "I wonder who'll play us in the inevitable film adaptation?" When you've got your heart set on something, it's hard to shake t♊he stars from your eyes.
6 💙 Blathers Writes Fan Fic? ඣ
Some of the game's most hilarious dialogue comes from everyone's favorite museum curator, Blathers. This owl has a Doctorate and his own ༺museum but is absolutely terrified of the bugs inside it (which is strangely adorable). While Blathers is quite knowledgeable on fish, it's clear that Fossils and Dinosaurs are his special interest, asking to give a short presentation on each fossil the player donates.
One fossil donated will prompt the owl to go slightly beyond the facts into adoration-based fantasizing, which he admits "essentially amounts to paleontological fan fiction." We only have one qౠuestion in response to that... does anyone have B♔lathers' AO3 account link?
