Kicks got his start in Animal Crossing: City Folk as an almost Dickensian shoe shiner (which somehow also magically changed the color of your shoes). Starting in New Leaf, Kicks got out of the shini🅺ng game and started selling s🐓hoes and socks.
Now in New Horizons, Kicks is back as a traveling m⛄erchant. He doesn't have a brick and mortar store, but he shows up every once in a while to hock his wares, which include a variety of shoes, s🃏ocks, and new handbags.
Getting Kicks to start showing up isn't too hard. First, you have to upgrade your Residential Services Plaza to the point where it offe🐓rs building in an open plaza area. After that, you'll need to construct the Able Sisters' Shop. Once done, Kicks will start appearing on a weekly basis.
Unfortunately, Kicks' appearances are completely random. He'll show up a🦄t least once per w𓆉eek, but which day isn't dependent on anything. You'll just have to show up to town every day to see if Kicks is around.
On the plus side, when Kicks is in town, he'll stick around from 8 AM to 10 PM to provide you with plenty of time to catch him. He’ll always appear in t👍he town plaza, an🌸d usually in front of the Able Sisters’ Shop. Keep in mind that Kicks’ wears are unique in that the Able Sisters will never sell the shoes, socks, or handbags that Kicks offers.
