From Peppy villagers who talk about being the world's next biggest celebrity to Smug types who will joke that you must have bought an all-access pass if talked to too often, there's always a charm to be found in the villagers that inhabit each and every island.

Today, we'll be 𒊎taking a look at the Lazy personality type, and the ten most sought-after villagers in said 🌠category.

10 Biskit

Biskit is an absolutely adorable dog that quickly stands out from most other🐎s in terms of design, quickly catching the eye with his striped green ears, along with the fact that he doesn't have any pupils- his eyes are wide and pure-white, but it honestly helps him look cuter.

His name is a reference to biscuits, a we🐭ll-loved dog treat, and his starting catchphrase of "dawg", the slang of his villager type, is charming in a way. He'd certainly be a real treat for any lazy dog lovers to have on their island.

9 Nate

Animal Crossing New Horizons Nate

Nate is a Bear w𒀰ho alwaysℱ seems to be in a general state of unhappiness due to his expression, but in all honesty, this is part of what adds to his charm for so many people. Though he does seem to sport a green unibrow, there's something about the style that helps it look cute along with his freckles and general expression, unlike a more disliked villager with a similar appearance like Hazel.

His Japanese name is Bakkasu, which is from Bacchus, the Roman God of Wine. His catchphrase, "yawwwn", is a reference to hi💯s personality type- and could also be an indication that he's ready to fall asleep at any moment.

8 Punchy

Animal Crossing New Horizons Punchy conversation

Punchy is an incredibly appealing cat in all aspects of his design, from his super-wide and bright eyes to his half-and-half coloration and everything in-between. His white-tipped paws make him look as if he's wearing mittens, a deliberate design choice that only adds♛ to how cute he really is. His half-lidded eyes which give him a perpetual feeling of just about falling asleep is also super endearing.

Appearing in every single game except for the origin♈al Animal Forest, Punchy is one that long-time fans most likely already know🍷 and love, and he's just as lovable in the newest entry.

7 Erik

Animal Crossing New Horizons Erik

Erik is a Deer villager whose first appearance was in the last main installment, New Leaf, and it's great to see that he made it back into the roster for a deserted island getaway. Everything abou🙈t his appearance screams 'adorable', and he's every bit as sweet as the coffee he prefers (lots of sugar and cream, according to the wiki) making him a joy to have on any island.

His house design is also a nice tie-in reference, as his name is extremely common in very cold Nordic areas, and his interior in New Horizons is reminiscent of an igloo.

6 Bob

Animal Crossing New Horizons Bob

Bob is a dearly beloved cat in the community, having appeared in each and every single entry in the Animal Crossing series thus far, and it's no wonde෴r fans are scrambling at the chance to be reunited with him- or even get the pleasure of having him for the first time. His spotted purple fur is adorable, and there's something incredibly charming about how his eyes are much more relaxed-looking than a lot of his wide-eyed feline counterparts.

However, his e-Reader card sta🐲tes that he tends to spit a lot whi🙈le speaking, which is further confirmed by his catchphrase being similar to the sound a cat makes while coughing up a hairball... which is definitely not cute.

5 Stitches

Animal Crossing New Horizons Stitches talking to the player by a cliff

Stitches is one cub that fans typically either immediately fall in love with or immediately fear- but for a lot of people, it's his slightly creepy appearance that makes him so cute. Like his name implies, Stitches appears to be... well, stitched together, appearing as a mish-mash of different colored bear parts. The fact that his eyes are little X's, mimicking how a stuffed plush in real l💯ife might look with an eye missing, only adds to this theory.

If you're a fan who loves the villagers who don't technically count as animals, then Stitches is an🔯 absolute must-have, as he's one of only a handful of 𓃲others who fit this definition.

4 Lucky

Lucky, similar to Bob, has appeared in every single Animal Crossing game to date and thus is highly sought-after by those who have fond memories of him, and even as a newcomer to the series, there's a lot to love about🔯 this mummy-resembling dog. Almost completely wrapped in gauze, the only things that are visible to us are a single glowing yellow eye as well as his ears.

His house also sports one of the creepi🌼est designs in the entire game, so if you're the sort of player who puts spending a night at a cemetery on their bucket list, Lucky is definitely one to keep an eye out 🌜for.

3 Beau

Animal Crossing New Horizons Beau

Beau is the second Lazy Deer⭕ to grace today's list, and out of the two, he's definitely the more popular. He's been topping fans' dream villager list for a long time, and it's hard to blame them with how absolutely adorable he really is. He's another Lazy villager whose gifted half-lidded eyes to give them a perpetual sleepy look that's nothing short of endearing.

His name is a masculine French word that means beauꦕtiful or handsome, and a big percentage of fans would certainly agree with that sentiment- and although he is a Deer, his appearance more closely resembles that o﷽f an antelope.

2 Sherb

Animal Crossing New Horizons Sherb

Sherb is a goat villager that was originally introduced in Pocket Camp, but a good chunk of fans don't really count that as a first appearance, as he has never been in a mainline game until New Horizons. Because of this, heꦐ also doesn't🍸 have an Amiibo card, and can only be found by moving in randomly, or through the campsite or Nook Miles Ticket islands, making him super desirable.

Aside from his rare status, he's also just genuinely one of the cutest and sweetest villagers one could 🅷have, and any fan of goats or pastel blue definitely doesn't want to miss🍌 out.

1 Zucker

Animal Crossing New Horizons Zucker

Stealing the number-one spot is none other than Zucker, one of only three octopuses in New Horizons. If being one of less than a handful of his type wasn't enough to make him desirable, he's also modeled after takoyaki, an incredibly popular Japan♛ese snack, making him not only irresistibly adorable but good enough to eat! He even has a bamboo toothpick sticking out from his head to complete the look.

His goal is listed as being a chef, which is just adorable from a character who resembles food himself. Zucker's house in New Horizons is also modeled after an outdoor street vendor, with a cotton candy stall, and his wallpaper and flooring gi🔴ve off the impression that he's selling outdoors in a city, which is a nice touch.
