As if the massive world of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Animal Crossing: New Horizons needed more content, Nintendo recently for the popular Switch exclusive. Players can now dive into the sea, collect a bunch of new DIY recipes, and help out a pirate-themed 🌸Gulliver. Here's everything added during wave one of the Summer Update.
Swimming & Diving
The most exciting new addition to the island is the ability to don a wetsuit and swim out into the sea. Players can now dive underwater and collect a wide range of sea creatures that can either be sold to Nook's Cranny or donated to Blathers. They rotate out seasonally like all other critters in Animal Crossing, so you're bound to have deep-sea dwellers available to hunt all year long. If you're having trouble figuring out the new mechanic, feel free to check out our 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:complete guide on swimming and diving.
The lovable new otter Pascal will also make an appearance if you happen across a scallop 👍while scouring the ocean floor. Feel free to trade with him, as he's often carrying great items you can't find anywhere else on your island.
Gullivarrr Is Washing Up On Your Shore
Not to be confused with your average-looking Gulliver, Gullivarrr is a decidedly piratical take on the clumsy seagull. And instead of searching for communicator parts, Gullivarrr has you diving in the ocean for his entire communicator. The pirate-y bird will also reward you with cool new gifts — all of which are pirate-themed — so be ꦰsure to give them𝐆 a hand if they wash up on your beach.
Mermaid DIY Recipes Galore
This is probably the least exciting addition — unless you are absolutely in love with mermaids. Animal Crossing: New Horizons now offers all sorts of mermaid-themed DIY recipes, running the gamut from adorable to atrocious. These are typically hꦍanded out by Pascal, and most of them can be crafted using shells found on your island. Here's a sampling of what has been added:
- Mermaid Bed
- Mermaid Chair
- Mermaid Closet
- Mermaid Dresser
- Mermaid Flooring
- Mermaid Lamp
- Mermaid Rug
Wave Two Coming In August
That's it for the first wave of the Summer Update! Nintendo has announced that a second wave is being planned for August, but not much else is known about its content𝓰 at this time. However, if past games are anything to go by, we can expect some sort of fireworks display — and maybe a new DIY set.▨ Expect more to be announced in the coming weeks.
Until then you can spend your time swimming in the ocean, collecting sea cre💛atures, helping out Gullivarr, and decking out your island in mermaid-themed gear. Remember — those sea creatures rotate out on a monthly basi🐎s, so it pays to start hunting early and avoid missing out on a valuable catch.
