According to the , an old helping hand could be making a r♛eturn to the game.

Gyroids have been a fixture in Animal Crossing since the very beginning of the franchise. In the past, there have been two kinds of Gyroids, the kind for entertainment and the kind for game upkeep. In past games, players have been able to collect three-piece sets of Gyroids fitting the same color scheme and theme. Furniture Gyroids also play music, but not K.K. Slider tracks. Gyroid beats are more a collection of beeps, boops, and bongs, along with some robotic dance moves. The fixed Gyroids that were stationed outside houses in the very first Animal Crossing and the ones who take donations at construction sites in New Horizons don’t play music but instead h💜andle maintenance and in-game functions.

Gyroids used to be dug out of the ground like fossils, and now it seems that New Horizons could be bringing these bots back. This is all based on a quick mention of Gyroids spawning after rainfall in the New Horizons guidebook.

There are almost 130 Gyroids across all of the Animal Crossing games and they vary in shape, size, color, and how rare they are. If this entry in the guidebook is to be read into it could give players something new to look forward to collecting. Or at the very least it can be another thing that can be offloaded to the Nook ಞboys for a quick bag of bells.
