Hello Kitty, Keroppi, and many of their friends will be donating their style to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp in an upcoming special eve𝄹nt. Sanrio is once again partnering with Nintendo for a 3 week cross-over that will bring many new items to the game starting today.

Though Hello Kitty herself won't actually be making an appearanc💃e, an array of furniture, t-shirts, and accessories themed after Sanrio's most famous💙 characters will be available for a limited time, starting today with items inspired by Hello Kitty and her flying puppy friend Cinammonroll.

From now until July 22, a special gyroidite scavenger hunt is available that will allow players to craft unique items and outfits, includin🥀g Hello Kitty's famous red bow. Later in July, a second collection will be added featuring items inspired by Pompompurin and My Melody. Players will also get special Sanrio-themed rewards from fortune cookies during the event. There is one more꧟ collection to be added as well, starting in August, Sanrio will bring Little Twin Stars and Keroppi themed items to the game.

This is actually the second time Sanrio characters have made their way into Animal CrossingDuring the Amiibo update for Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Sanrio released a collection of Amiibo cards featuring new villagers inspired by Sanrio's design. Scanning a card would bring 1 of 6 villagers into their game, along with their custom RV and collection of furniture and items. Unfortunately, the Amiibo cards were only available in Japan and Europe, so the Pocket Camp event will be the first opportunity for Americans fans to get their hands on some Sanrio goodies🍰 for Animal Crossing.
