There may not be any official news as to whether or not Ubisoft is working on a new 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Splinter Cell game, but that doesn't mean we won't be seeing Sam Fisher don his famous night vision goggles again soon. According to Variety, a brand new animated series based on Tom Clancy's video game franchise is currently in the works at Netflix.

Derek Kolstad, the creator behind the John Wick film trilogy, will be tasked with writing the show. The writer is also known for working on the upcoming Falcon and Winter Soldier series coming to Disney+, as well as a Kevin Hart-led action-comedy on Quibi, Die Hart, and another feature-length action film with Universal, titled Nobody.

Based on how well Kolstad was able to visualize the action sequences within the John Wick trilogy, it's easy to have high hopes for what he can bring to the world of Splinter Cell. 🐬Given the franchise's legacy, the writer will likely be dealing with stealth action more than he ever has in the🥃 past.

The Splinter Cell story begins with Sam Fisher, a former Navy SEAL, joining the NSA's Third Echelon divi⛄sion, where he takes on a series of military operations focused largely on stealth related tactics. We haven't been given any plot details just yet, but one can assume that the Netflix series will likely cover this origin.

Seven more games followed the original Splinter Cell, as well as a handful of novels. Almost every game received the acclaim of both critics and fans alike, and the series is wildly recognized for setting the groundwork for many of the most pop💃ular stealth games today.

Despite that notoriety, a new Splinter Cell entry hasn't been seen since 2013's Blacklist. Although the game was well-received, many fans criticized Blacklist for focusing too much on heavy action and abandoning the gritty 🌞stealth gameplay that the series had become known for. Seven years la⭕ter, we've yet to see where the franchise will be heading next.

One would assume that Ubisoft will eventually return to making Splinter Cell game🔴s at some point in the future, but the upcoming Netflix series certainly gives fans something to look forward to in the meantime. If the animated💖 show is as promising as it sounds, there's no doubt that Ubisoft will finally give fans what they've been hoping for.
