This guide explains the location, attack patterns in the first and second phases, and the best strategy to beat Firth in the game.

Firth Boss Location

Firth location in Another Crab's Treasure

Firth is the final boss in the game. This encounter happens right after you beat Praya Dubia, The Ocean's Agony. Once Praya Dubia dies, the Perfect Whorl shell appears on the platform at the center of the boss battle.

While Krill comforts Chitan, Firth steals the Perfect Whorl shell. Fight against Firth happens on Trash Island, and before you proceed to the boss fight, you get the point-of-no-return warning.

Firth Boss Attack Patterns

Krill attacking Firth in Another Crab's Treasure

Phase 1 Attacks

Description

Four Hit Combo

Firth uses his spoon to launch four hits in a row. The final hit of this combo results in an uppercut.

Parry And Riposte

Firth will occasionally duck inside the Perfect Whorl shell. During this instance, if Krill strikes him with a light or another attack, Firth will parry and riposte it.

Charged Thrust

Firth thrusts his spoon into Krill. This attack has a charge animation of at least half a second, after which Firth hurls the weapon at Krill.

Trash Long Sword

When his health drops below 40 percent, Firth summons a long sword. The sword is made of trash and breaks into pieces after some time.

Swing And Slam

Firth uses the long sword to perform a 180-degree swing in front of him towards Krill. After that, Firth slams the long sword, dealing massive damage to Krill.

Ranged Projectile

Firth manifests a crab arm and shoots a ranged projectile toward Krill. This projectile is not homing, so it can be dodged easily.

Teleportation

In most of the above-mentioned attacks, Firth will teleport near Krill. This mostly happens if Krill stays too far away from Firth.

Phase 2 Attacks

Description

Two Hit Combo

Krill uses his fist to control the octopus's tentacles manifested from the Perfect Whorl shell. He swings left and then right to deal massive physical damage. Even if you block the combo attacks, Krill's health will still take damage.

Spiked Ball

Firth will start hurling spiked balls towards Krill, which will explode after some time.

Cyclone Summon

In the second phase, Firth will occasionally summon cyclones after Krill has depleted 30 to 40 percent of his health.

Aggro Grab

A red icon on Krill's head indicates an Aggro Grab attack. Firth rushes to grab Krill, pulls him up, and then crashes down. This attack depletes nearly 50 percent of Krill's health.

Tentacle Clap

Firth raises the octopus tentacles and claps them at the front to deal massive impact damage. This is a very short-range attack that is🌱 mostly unleashed when Krill constantly attacks Firth closely.

Teleportation

Like the first phase, Firth will occasionally teleport very close to Krill and unleash any attack mentioned above. This will happen if you continue staying away from꧂ the boss.

How To Beat Firth, The Crab Who Stole The Whorl Boss

  • Recommended Stats: 40 Vitality, 12 Resistance, 55 Attack, 21 MSG, 10 Defense
  • Recommended Shell: Champagne Flute
  • Recommended Stowaways: Lamprey, Barnacle, Sinker++
  • Recommended Adaptations: Royal Wave Level 3

Firth is a unique boss who moves swiftly, attacks very hard, and can kill Krill quickly. He is similar to Krill but better and faster since he wears the Perfect Whorl shell. However, if you have leveled up to the recommended stats above, this boss fight should not give you too much challenge in b♈eating it.

While you can bring any unlocked adaptations you want, the Royal Wave level three adaptation is a better fit for this boss. The attack execution is swift and has a 180-degree swing, so it is nearly impossible for Firth to escape this attack every time you use it.

When the Royal Wave strikes Firth, Krill can temporarily deal additional damage. Firth has decent health in both phases and with Krill's light attack, it will take a lot of time to beat the boss.

Pairing the Royal Wave with the Scrap Hammer will significantly increase Firth's health drain per hit. The shells attached to the fork get damaged over time and will break.

Since many shells are available in the Firth boss fight area, you should frequently pick brand-new shells and discard the damaged ones.

Phase One

You can parry and riposte most of the Firth's attacks, the four-hit combo being the easiest one to do so. However, you must also be wary while blindly attacking Firth. The boss will suddenly duck inside the Perfect Whorl shell, and if Krill strikes him, he will parry and riposte immediately.

The charged thrust attack is another of Firth's attacks that you can dodge and parry quite easily because of the delayed animation. Hold the block button and release it immediately when Firth's spoon touches Krill. This will parry the attack, and pressing the light attack right after it will allow Krill to riposte.

The spoon's thrust and four-hit combos are deadly, but the long sword Firth manifests using the trash is much more lethal. The boss does a two-hit combo consisting of a swing followed by a slam.

While you can block or parry both a💦ttacks, we recommend running away from the weapon's range to avoid being hit.

While maintaining distance from Firth to restore health is a good strategy, be mindful that you are not taking too long. If Krill continues to stay at a distance from Firth, the boss will teleport and immediately open a random attack. It could most likely be an adaptation attack.

Phase Two

In phase two, Firth's agility is greatly reduced, but he trades speed with hit damage. This means that each of the boss's attacks will hit much harder in the second phase compared to the first one. Whether the tentacles clap, two-hit combos that utilize the tentacles, or spiked balls that explode, all of them can kill Krill quickly.

Firth will give you less chance to attack him during the second phase. However, staying at a medium distance will allow Firth to do a two-hit combo, after which the boss pauses for a few seconds before moving on to the next attack.

This short time window is your cue to attack Firth and deal damage. The best way to deal massive damage in a short duration is to open the attack with the Royal Wave adaptation, followed by a few charged or light attack strikes.

You must not make haste during the second phase, especially after the two-hit combo. That is because Firth will most likely do a tentacle clap attack if Krill🐭 continues to do melee damage. This attack eats away nearly 30 to 🐻40 percent of Krill's health.

Firth rushing for aggro attack in Another Crab's Treasure

When the boss is left with 20 to 30 percent health, some cyclones will move randomly in the arena. If Krill is hit by a cyclone, it will throw him in the air. It would be best not to lock on to Firth during the clutch moments in the second phase, as it gives you a better view of the cyclones and allows you to escape before being caught by them.

Continue hitting the boss and retreating to a safe distance, dodge the attacks we have mentioned above, and you should be able to defeat Krill easily.
