Here's what you need to know to get started i🐟n Another Crab's Treasure.

The once bright and b🃏ustling Fort Slacktide has been changed completely by pollution, but you still have to see the Duchess and complete her task for you. You'll need to make your way through Fort Slacktide the long way this time, and at the end of it all, you'll have to face Magista, the Tyrant of Slacktide.

Where To Find Magista

Kril speaking to one of the guard's outside Fort Slacktide after they've been corrupted in Another Crab's Treasure.

Magista, Tyrant of Slacktide is found in Fort Slacktide, but only after you've accepted the Duchess' quest and retrieved the Pristine Pearl from the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Moon Caves to the west of the fort.

You'll also need to visit the Moonglow Snail and acquire Umami powers.

Once that's done, return to Castle Slacktide, and you'll find that not only has the general vibe changed, but the main doors are shut, and you'll need to navigate through its ruins.

After the conversation and fighting with the guard, follow the path to the left that was previously blocked, and get rid of enemies as you avoid the sludge pools.

You'll face many Lobster enemies that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:function similarly to Nephro but lack his special attacks.

Defeat or go past the first Lobster, climb up the netting to the top of the walls, and use your Fishing Line to cross over onto the next section.

There will be two paths and Party Pufferfish blocking the way. The path blocked by sand cubes leads to a Heartkelp Pod, and the other leads down to another section of the castle with more Crabs and Lobsters.

If you're low on health and don't want to use a Heartkelp Pod yet, find a Banana Peel shell and use its Munch ability to consume it for HP.

Go down to that inner section, take the path to the left for a Breadclaw past some Crabs, then go back and take the right path through the opened door to progress.

Grapple up onto the hanging platform, then up to another section of the wall, and you can unlock a Moon Snail Shell past the Q-Tip Crab in the tower.

If you keep climbing the netting in the tower next to the Shell, you can pick up a Whelk Stowaway at the top, guarded by another Q-Tip Crab.

Go down the netting near the shell and follow the path around to the large tower with platforms spiraling up it.

Carefully make your way up the platforms, and watch out for the Crabs who can knock you off to your death. At the top, you'll have a Comb Crab and another spiral of platforms to follow up, with one Q-Tip Crab blocking you.

You can bait the Crabs into falling off the platforms by waiting at the edge of a platform under them and letting them attack toward you until they falꦯl.

Once you're at the top, drop the shortcut reel and then grapple across into the actual castle. Grab the oyster with a Bloodstar Limb in it, then go down the stairs, out the room, and into the main hall of the Castle.

You can unlock the main doors for a shortcut back outside, then once you're ready, head down the hall and into the Duchess' chambers for a cutscene.

How To Beat Magista, Tyrant Of Slacktide

  • Recommended Stats: VIT 20, RES 3, ATK 18, and MSG 16 or 17.
  • Recommended Stowaways: Barnacle/Limpet, Whelk/Limpet, Limpet/Sea Star or Mussel/Limpet/Anemone
  • Recommended Shells: Coconut Shell or Tea Cup Shell.

Magista is likely the third boss you'll fight. She's a tough customer with a lot of range to her attacks and the ability to make it difficult to approach her.

Due to her high damage and movement, the Coconut shell is the best option as its Rollout ability is great for doing damage and gives you a quick way to cross the arena.

Corrupted by pollution, she can not only do a lot of damage but can also inflict you with one of the first status effects you'll come across: Gunked.

The majority of her attacks will cause the status effect to build up, and it can make even her weakest attacks do more damage and get you to use u♏p your Heartkel🔥p Pods quickly.

Kril getting knocked back by an attack and also afflicted with the Gunked status effect in Another Crab's Treasure.

Gunked causes Kril to take Damage Over Time, receive slightly increased damage from attacks, and move slightly slower for around ten seconds.

Chain Slam

Slings her ball and chain toward Kril from across the room. Generates Gunked if you're hit by it and leaves a pool of sludge behind.

Chain Grab

Chain Swing

Winds up, then swings her ball and chain around in a circle across the room for several seconds and generates Gunked if you're hit by it.

With Magista's battle, you'll be more free to alternate between dodging and blocking her attacks with your shell, but you'll primarily want to dodge into most of her attacks just like with Nephro.

You have both Soda Can shells and the new Tea Cup shell available in the arena, whose skill gives you a temporary boost to attack speed.

For Magista's Claw Slash or Claw Slam, you can either dodge to the side or forward to avoid and get some damage on her or go ahead and block with your shell for the same effect.

In between claw and chain attacks, she'll use Vomit Sludge every few attacks to attempt to block you off from her, so run to either side as she's doing it to close the distance and get a few hits in.

The Way of the Hermit skill Steamline can help you dodge over the sludge pools, or you can use the Skewer skill from Way of the Predator while running to get in an extra hit.

This time, Magista's unblockable attack will be a normal part of her kit, and you'll need to watch for the audio cue as well since its wind-up is similar to her regular Shain Clam.

If you do get hit by it, you'll lose about 75 percent of your health and accumulate a lot of Gunked.

Once Magista loses half her health, she'll gain another move, Chain Swing, which has a massive AOE radius and can stun you into a multi-hit combo from it.

Magista's Chain Swing is blockable and you can dodge through it or out of it. If you can't afford the shell damage, just run out of its range.

Keep up with your tactics of dodging and blocking, avoid getting Gunked, and once Magista is defeated, you not only get 2,500 Microplastics but your first Adaptation attack: Royal Wave.
