Anthem is a looter/shooter. However, it looks like BioWare is still really s𒐪truggling with the “looter” portion of the whole looཧter/shooter formula.

"Time Invested Vs. Reward is a complete joke at this point,” writes Reddit user Afinda, who is calling on all Anthem play💃ers to in order to send a message to BioWare: start increasing drop rates, or else we’ll stop playing for good.

The whole issue is just how stingy the game’s loot system can be. According to Microsoft Xbox Corporate VP Mike Ybarra, it took him 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:10 hours of playing to see just a single Legendary൩ (yellow) rarity item. Some players in the Reddit comments say they’ve been playing longer and still haven’t seen anything better than an Epic (pur✅ple) drop.

Compare that to other classic looter/shooters like Borderlands 2, where purples and yellows often dropped in the first hour of play,🏅 and you can see why some people might be a little upset.

Making them even more upset is the fact that it didn’t use to be this bad. A bug caused Anthem’s drop tables to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:shower players in loot before last Saturday’s patch, which then abruptly turned the taps off without warning. So you can see why some Anthem playersꩲ are a little peeved.

So angry that now one player has decided to foment a revolution. Afinda is calling on all Anthem players to boycott the game between March 11t𓆉h and March 15th to send a message to BioWare and hopefully bring back the oodles of loot from before the most recent pa🍒tch.

"Get your point across, simple as that,” writes Afinda. “Stop playing the game for a whole week (hopefully wi♚th the support of the entire subreddit) to show BioWare that all it'd take for us to really enjoy the game, is to r♏eceive loot."

EA doesn’t release player numbers for Anthem, so it’s impossible to tell if the boycott is having any effect. BioWare has so far remained silent on the boycott, even though it has received well over 12k upvotes on Reddit. We’ll have to wait and see just what this will mean for Anthem’s future, but for the sake of the🐼 game, we hope the loot comes back.
