We first got a taste for Control, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Apex Legends’ limited-time 9v9 game mode, back when 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Defiance first launched in January. A few💝 months later and Respawn is bringing Control back to celebrate the arrival of the Warriors Collection Event, but only for a limited time.

In case you didn’t get to experience Control the first time ar💞ound, the game mode pit two teams of 9 Legends against each other in a king-of-the-hill-style game mode. Each map had three locations that players needed to control (hence the name) in order to gain points for their team. The team with the most points at the end of the match won.

Control really changed things up for Apex Legends. The biggest difference was unlimited respawns, which meant that players could be a lot more reckless than they normally would. Dying in Battle Royale meant having to wait to find a totally new game, but dying in Control just meant respawning at your team’s base. This allowed for some crazy plays and intense objective-based action that went down well with a lot of the Apex players around these 🐼parts.

Because Control was objective-based, it also meant certain Legends wer൲e betꦯter than others. Legends with movement abilities like Pathfinder, Octane, and Mad Maggie were good for traversing between control points, while Caustic, Gibraltar, and Bangalore were good for keeping control points. Control completely upended the normal Apex Legends meta, and fans loved it.

And now it’s coming back with a new map. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Caustic Treatment on Kings Canyon has been added to the rotation, joining Olympus and Storm Point as possible maps. Caustic Treatment has been revamped for Control with more cover, ziplines, skydive launchers, “and even a hover tank,” according to the official site. The terrain has b🗹een better balanced to improve movement between control points, and there’s even a console at Point B that lets players raise toxic levels to set traps for invaders.

Along with the return of Control, The Warriors Collection event brings a new Arena map called “Drop-Off” that has play🔯ers f♑ight atop Hammond Manufacturing Tower. There are also new cosmetics, a new rewards tracker, and daily challenges to complete.
