Dataminder seems to have located bits of code that point at a limited-time paintball game mode. References to “paint,” “paintb𝕴all,” and various colors of rounds like yellow, green, and purple.
That’s all we have, but it certainly seems like a paintball mode to us. There’s no mention of weapon restrictions, but expect the energy weapons to be removed as they don’tꩵ ♉fire any physical objects that can be turned into a paintball.
Other data miners have located new skins in the recent update files as well. Respawn has offered no official confirmation of the new game mode, and we don’t expect them to. But kee🅠p an ear out for this new game mode to pop up in the coming weeks.
