Ash will be 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Apex Legends’ next playable Legend. We found that out earlier this week with the 168澳🎃洲幸运5开奖网:latest Stories from the Outlands trailer. Today we’re getting a p♒eek at what Escape will bring, and it looks✅ like a new Arena map.
The trailer starts with Mirage and Bangalore taking a boat to a deserted island along with everyone else in the Apex games. Everyone first starts out having fun in the sun, swimming, fishing, or laying down to catch some rays. Why does Mirage need to wear sunscreen when he's wearing his costume? That's a question only Respawn Entertainment can answer.
Things quickly go from fun in the sun to tropical terror when Mirage wakes up to a mouthful of alien teeth. From there, it's encounters with alien fauna, squads of deadly Legends, and a horde of spiders.
And then of course there's Ash, the scariest of them all. Ash saves Bangalore and Mirage from Caustic, Revenant, and Rampart, slicing her way through opposition with a giant sword. We also see her use that sword to tear open the very fabric of reality itself, walking through the tear to appear in a nearby location. The ability seems similar to Wraith, but has an aesthetic look very similar to Titan Fall 2's famous Effect and Cause mission.
Another thing to note is the gun that Mirage grabs to defend himself. That's a Combat Advanced Round Submachine Gun, or C.A.R. for short--a beloved weapon from Titanfall 2. The perfect balance between an assault rifle's range and a submachine gun's fire rate, the C.A.R. was truly the best of both worlds, firing out further than a subby but hitting as hard as a rifle.
The C.A.R. was revealed in datamine a few months ago, but now it looks like it'll be finally added with the Escape update.
Given that every encounter in the trailer was against a three-person squad, I'd bet money that this tropical island is our new Arena map. Likely points of interest include that crashed ship, the beach, a jungle, and a rickety old bridge.
