Developer Respawn Entertainment has sent out a ban wave against players who were caught abusing one of two exploits in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Apex Legends. Each of the two bugs recently found in the game could be exploited to secure victories in ways that are underhanded and destroy the integrity of a competitive atmosphere, and it is great to see acﷺtion taken on this front.

The two exploits offered players distinct ways to gain an unfair edg𝓰e over the competition. One of the exploits would allow you the use an Ultimate ability repeatedly, which would surprise, confuse, and certainly overwhelm any opponent. The second exploit would allow you to occupy a space beneath the map in the final circle where you could not die. It would only be a matter of time until all other opponents would be eliminated, and you would be left as the undeserved winner.

The ban wave went out on September 18, informing players that they were banned from pl🅘aying for one week. As is often the case following a ban wave in most games, posts began to pop up all over social media and Reddit, with users indicating that this must have been a mistake, and that no exploits had been abused.

In games like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:World of Warcraft Classic, where th𝐆e auto ban feature is far from perfect, posts like these are often a strong remedy to catch the attention of a GM to help overturn a wrongful decision. This was not the case here, however, as Conor Ford, a member of Respawn’s security team who works specifically with players who abuse exploits, chimed in early on to confirm that the bans were properly applied.

Temporarily banning players for a week is a great move by Respawn Entertainment. For those who were deliberately abusing one or both of the exploits, and also for those who may have only dabbled ♛once or twice to see exactly what the fuss was about, the message is crystal clear: destroying the competitive integrity of the game for selfish gain will not be tolerated.

From here, it would be reasonable to see longer temporary bans applied for repeat offenders, a💝nd eventually permanent account termination. While that might seem harsh, abusing these types of exploits ruin the experience for all other players, and Respawn Entertainment should consistently work to remove cheaters. Otherwise, Apex Legends might turn into Call of Duty: Warzone, where every game runs rampant with cheaters.
