It's October, so you know what that means; games will be adding a spooky twist to their content. With that in mind, Apex Legends will be hosting the limited time event starting October 12 and running till November 2. The stage is set as the Legends will go trick-or-treating to Seer's home world of Boreas where they will battle it out on the Encore Arenas map and earn some scary cosmetics.
Encore is the arena where Seer made his name. Legends will have to work together to conquer it as it's made up of two major high-ground power positions, each with their own direct and flanking assault routes. You'll have to rely on covering fire from your squadmates if you hope to establish dominance in the Performance Stage area. The space between these two zones will leave you wide open, so make sure you're quick about it.
The last week of the event will also see the return of the Shadow Royale game mode hosted by Revenant, arguably the scariest looking Legend on the roster. This "darker version of the Apex Games" will have all slain Legends come back in shadow-form in order to help out teammates and take revenge on enemies. You'll have unlimited shadow lives and your squad will still be in it until the last member falls.
Each week of the event will have a seperate reward track via which yo﷽u can unlock spooky cosmetics for your Legeꦿnds.
You'll also be able to get your hands on all new limited edition Monsters Within Packs. These will include event specific items, guaranteed to not have any duplicates. You can grab them for 400 Apex Coins. The Apex Store will also see the return of some classic skins from previous Halloween events, like Wraith’s “Mistress of Evil” and Crypto’s “Deadly Byte”.
L🌟astly, Apex Legends will be celebrating Dia de los Muertos between October 26 and November with a bunch of new themed cosmetics for Octane including Epic “Muerte Rápida” skin, Epic “Altar Ego” banner frame, a matching Rare “Flirting with Death” skin for the Volt and 2 Octane Packs.
