Apex Legends may have for the long🔯-awaited Nintendo Switch version in its latest YouTube video. Although it's not listed in the , both the Japanese and Danish versions mentioned a Switch release date of February 2 – which also🥀 happens to be the start of Season 8.

The description for both these videos has since been changed, removing any mention of Nintendo Switch. Still, February 2 seems like as good a time as any to release Apex Legends on the hybrid console. Not only is it the starꩲt of a new season, but it's also just a few days after its second anniversary on February 4. What better way to celebrate than by bringing the popular battle royale to a new set of🧸 players?

The video in question is titled, "🌟Stories from the Outlands - 'Good as Gold.'" Its English description reads as fo☂llows:

"Some friends support your dreams, others have trouble letting♒ go. Journey to Salvo and see if🍨 Fuse makes it to the Apex Games in one piece."

It then goes on to list all available consoles along with a link to learn more about Season 8. On the Japanese and Danish versions, this also included text that said, "And on February 2nd, it will be pos🐓sible to play on Switch at the same time as the start of Season 8!"

Apex Legends is definitely come to Switch, but don't put too much stock into February 2 as its official release date. Until Respawn comes out and confirms the information, it's best not to get your h💛opes up. Still, we can't help but be excited about the news. Apex Legends was slated to launch on Switch before thꦬe start of Season 7, although it was delayed due to the challenges of working during a pandemic.

Misprint or not, we're likely to see Apex Legends land on the hybrid console sometime in 2021. When i🍷t does arrive, we should s𝓀ee full feature parity with all other versions of the game – including cross-platform play.
