Fan-favorite map returns to Apex Legends for the first time in Season 5 and🍷ꦍ players can't wait.
World's Edge is the 2nd Apex Legends map after King's Canyon. It was added🤡 to the game during Season 3 last October and represents a very different setting from King's Canyon's more rural landscape. Set on the planet Talos, World's Edge has some real environmental threats in the lava pools sp꧅read around the world. By the middle of season 4 Hammond Robotics Planetary Harvester devastated the map and opened up new lava pits throughout.
Players both competitive and casual often prefer World's Edge to King's Canyon because of the structure and layout of the map. The various zones throughout World's Edge are sectioned off with big walls that make it a lot more challenging for multiple groups to take advantage of a fight. This is something the Apex team at Respawn has tried toꦛ bring to King's Canyon as well with the introduction of new zones like Capacitor that serve to section off the map.
With the changes to King's ✃Canyon in Season 5, players have been restricted from playing World's Edge for the first 2 weeks. With the start of Week 3 tomorrow, players will be able to return to World's Edge.
Personally, I c⛄an't wait to try out Loba's ult on the vaults in World's Edge. It's going to be a blast!
