Apex Legends has come a long way since its initial release, with new events and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:characters keeping the game fresh. While the community appreciates the content updates, some players have posed a few suggestions in regards to purchasing Apex Packs and keeping track꧑ of how many a p𝄹layer has purchased.

While Apex Legends does not outright force players to buy 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:loot boxes, it can be easy to lose track of purchases and possibly spend a few too many coins on a new pack. However, some players havꦆe suggꦡested a purchase counter would not stop them from purchasing but instead buy more packs.

Apex Legends Apex Pack purchased counter concept

Over on , user Hes1ShotBro1Shot, suggested adding a feature to the Apex UI that tracks the number of packs opened. While there was support for the feature amongst commenters, a majority of users echoed the same counterpoint as to why the feature may never see implementation. Many users chimed in stating that developers have no incentive from implementing the feature because giving players the ability to know how much money they have spent in the game, or packs they opened in general, may dissuade some players from paying more. Fewer packs opened and purchased translate to a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:dip in sales. Other commenters were not holding out hope for the feature as they noted that the store already could lean on less than savvy 𓂃players by promoting deals that a𝓀re not the most financially sound.

While there is a lot of incentive for the consumer to have a pack opener counter, there is virtually no incentive for the publisher or developers. The magic behind loot boxes is not knowing how much money you spend by losing track amidst the enticing price point for a single loot box. Without a pack counter, players are kept in the dark until they look over the card statements. Five dollars occasionally does not seem like a lot, but when you realize "occasionally" was fifteen times in the past month, meaning you spent $75 on only one game, then buying another pack is not that enticing. However, there can be the possibility of Apex Legends adding a pack counter that creates goodwill with the community, sales are not affected, and it's an excellent PR move. Thankfully, the content in apex packs is cosmetic, so counter or not, players won't feel they need an item🥂 to perform better in-game.
