The IA-13: Sea Spider is the final boss of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Armored Core 6's final chapter. And as is the case with all of these bosses, they can be a real problem if you don't approach them thoughtfully. Not only does the Sea Spider apply a considerable amount of pressure from at range with a wide variety of attacks, but they will also be on your butt with surprisingly quick melee attacks. And we haven't even talked about the second phase of the fight where they take to the air...

But as is the nature of Armored Core 6, with the right approach this fight becomes far more manageable. We'll provide you with two highly effective builds for battling the Sea Spider—each build comes with its own strengths and weaknesses. We will also break down all their attacks for you, helping you to get the best jump possible on this foe.

AC Loadout Recommendations

Armored Core 6, Sea Spider Boss, Dodging a laser blast

There are a couple of notable elements to take into consideration when building an AC for this battle. First and foremost, the Sea Spider's beam attacks and pouncing attacks are quite quick, so mobility is a must. Being in the air is a good way of undermining a number of these attacks, of course. So, Reverse Joint legs are a strong choice here.

Tetrapod legs are great for dealing with a number of these attacks as well, due to their hover ability, but it is a lot harder to get your boost fast enough to deal with those beam attacks when you have those innately heavy Tetrapod legs equipped. We think they are a poor choice for this e꧂nc🌸ounter.

Armored Core 6, Sea Spider Boss, Zooming around the battlefield

The Tank bottom will can be extremely effective for the first half of the fight, especially since it lets you pile on hard-hitting weapons, that will let you shred the Sea Spider. However, it will෴ require you to avoid some attacks exclusively with your Quickℱ Boost, as your ability to ascend will be greatly hampered. Though, if you are comfortable with the tank build, this can be a very solid AC to use against the Sea Spider.

If you do go with the Tank bottom, make sure to go with your lightest set of Tank bottoms. You need that mobility.

The Tank treads provide a lot of benefits, but they also make the second half of the fight, against the flying Sea Spider, a little more treacherous. Still, they provide strong stats overall, and they will allow you to deal hefty damage. The Reverse Joint legs really help you use horizontal movement better, but to have the speed necessary to deal evade effectively, you ﷺare going to likely need toไ emphasize lighter shoulder weapons.

Using a melee weapon in this battle will help you keep your weig🐲ht down, and it can be used quite effectively to put the Sea ꧃Spider into their staggered state when they are close to maxing out their ACS bar.

As for weapon types, you are going to want to lean more on heavy hitting weapons. Shotguns, Blades, Rocket Launchers, Grenade Launchers, and energy weapons all make sense. The Sea Spider is a giant target, and it isn't particularly evasive, so there is no real benefit to going lighter weaponry.

IA-13: Sea Spider Attacks

Missile Cluster

Armored Core 6, Sea Spider Boss, The Homing missiles attack

This is a pretty simple cluster of homing missiles. The Sea Spider will fire them into the air before they start homing in on you. As is often the case with missiles, Quick Boosting toward the boss once these missiles start raining down from above is the easiest way to make them miss. However, 💜if your 𒁃Boost is fast enough, you can dodge them to the side as well.

Laser Volley

Armored Core 6, Sea Spider Boss, Taking to the air against the Sea Spider

Throughout your battle with the Sea Spider, they will frequently fire off volleys of lasers. Individual laser blasts aren't particularly damaging, but if you eat a full volley the damage is far from negligible. The Sea Spider will use this attack frequently as they are performing other attacks, so it will force you to keep on your toes and on the move.

Cannon Blast

Armored Core 6, Sea Spider Boss, Flying under the sweeping laser beam

This is a powerful laser cannon blast. This attack does come with a forewarning, as the Sea Spider will have to charge it before they are able to blast you with their cannon. It often comes in groups of three. So, make sure you are prepared to Quick Boost away. Vertical movement will help evade the beam to some extent, but it does have pretty excellent accuracy.

Sweeping Laser Beam

Armored Core 6, Sea Spider Boss, Zooming around the battlefield-1

This move is a lot like the Cannon Blast, but instead of being a concentrated, shot blast of energy, the laser beam will stay active, and the Sea Spider will sweep it around. Where you are when the move begins will determine its path. So, ideally, you will want to be grounded as it charges the beam, then, as it sweeps toward you, you will hop over it.

During the second phase of this fight, the Sea Spider will use this attack more frequently, and they will use it from the air, which means that the beam will come in at an angle. Try to be level with the laser as it charges (which will require ascending into the sky), then cut your boosters and descend as the beam sweeps around to hit you.

Pouncing Attack

Armored Core 6, Sea Spider Boss, Sea Spider using their pouncing attack

This is a big source of damage for the Sea Spider. Especially during the first phase. When you see the giant mechanized menace sprinting toward you, this is the attack it will be looking to land. You can Quick Boost away from it, but you will want to wait until the attack is in motion. The most effective way to deal with it is to take to the air.

Spin RushArmored Core 6, Sea Spider Boss, Sea Spider spinning attack

With this attack, the Sea Spider will spin and throw itself at the player. This is one of the attacks that the Sea Spider will get during its second phase. It, more or less, replaces the Pouncing Attack. Not only is the Spin Rush fast, but it will come at different angles, and you will often have to dodge it multiple times, as the Sea Spider will swoop in again if it misses. Getting distance, ascending, then dropping as it approaches, and boosting away from it, is a good way to get clear of this attack.

Giant Laser Blast

Armored Core 6, Sea Spider Boss, The giant energy wave from the big laser

This final laser attack is the core of the Sea Spider's second phase. They will charge this attack as they hover above the center of the stage then, as they fire it off, they will cause a giant explosion at the point of impact, which will cause a wave of energy to travel across the entire stage. If you are airborne during this attack (and not under the Sea Spider) you will be completely safe. Ot𓆉herwise, you will need to hop over the wave of energy if𝓡 you are on the ground.

IA-13: Sea Spider Battle Strategy

Armored Core 6, Sea Spider Boss, Flying away from the impact zone

To begin the boss battle, interact with the canister. Once you have done this, Carla will warn you that something is wrong and the Sea Spider fall down from the sky, landing directly on top of the canister you were planning to load yourself into. So, make sure to get some distance once you fully engage the canister. You don't want to be standing anywhere near it when the Sea Spider lands.

Now, you will want to immediately start strafing. You will be circling the Sea Spider at all times, Quick Boosting to the side whenever a Laser Beam is coming your way. As you strafe you will of course be firing off all your ranged weapons. If you see the Sea Spider lunging toward you, start to ascend and get above it. This will cause their pouncing attack to completely miss. Similarly, when they use their fully charged cannon to fire a laser beam, sweeping it across the stage, take to the skies as it come around to you. Hopping up and down throughout this fight is a great way to help avoid a number of attacks.

Armored Core 6, Sea Spider Boss, Hopping away from the Pouncing Attack

The rang you circle at will obviously be determined by the weapons you brought. Shotguns will do wonders for staggeꦗring the Sea Spider, but will require you to fight in the danger zone. However, as long as your boost is strong enough, you will be able to evade everyth💦ing it can throw at you still.

Throughout the entire first phase of the fight, you will always be circling and hopping. Once the second phase rolls around, you should get under the Sea Spider, and fire at them from below. You will keep strafing, of course. When the Sea Spider starts to spin, you will want to take to the air. Try to get above the Sea Spider as it spins in your direction, then drop down and get under it when it comes back around.

If you are using the Tank Treads, then your approach will need to be much more about drifting at high speeds around the Sea Spider. Try to do this in the center of the stage so that you don't get hung up on a wall.

Armored Core 6, Sea Spider Boss, Firing on the Sea Spider above

You will also want to be in the sky when it uses its big laser attack. It will be harmless if you are above the blast zone. However, the rest of the fight is largely the same, though some of the attacks will🏅 fire from different angles now (as the Sea Spider will be airborne). As long as you maintain pressure, y๊ou should be able to deal enough sustained damage to down it permanently.
