Modiphius Entertainment has released The Art of Conan, the newest PDF sourcebook for the Conan: Adventures in Age Undreamed of RPG. This rulebook supplement compiles full-color art from all of the Conan RPG sourcebooks into a single 112-page volume.
The Conan: Adventures in Age Undreamed of RPG kickstarter is one of the most successful gaming kickstarters of all time. The entire Conan RPG library now spans about 20 sou༒rcebooks, as well as various gaming additions such as dice and tilesets.
The Art of Conan presents an incredible gallery of cover and interior art and illustrations from across the Conan RPG library, and comprises art from an amazing list of artists, including Brom, Daren Brader, Gio🌺 Baroni, Kitti Wong, Shen Fei, Simon Bisley, Val Mayerik, the art teams a🦋t Funcom and Monolith studios, and an army of other outstanding artists.
According to the press release, The Art of Conan doesn’t contain any rules or specific gaming content information. It’s simply a tome crafted for Conan RPG players and fans ofဣ sword-and-sorcery art to enjoy and take inspiration from.
Much of the stunning art within The Art of Conan includes marvelous archetype images of the renowned Cimmerian, Conan. Conan’s multiple personas are exhibited here in wondrous detail, matching the Conan RPG sourcebooks that mark the times in Conan’s career when he exemplified the barbarian, thief, mercenary, pirate, brigand, wanderer, adventurer, scout, ജand king.
The artbook also showcases many illustrious scenes from Conan’s travels in t🀅he Hyborian Age. One such art piece depicts a scene from “The Frost-Giant’s Daughter”, chronologically the first story author Robert E. Howard wrote about Conan’s life. Many other such heroic scenes on dazzling landscapes can be found throughout the book, often as two-page spreads.
Additional chapters in The Art of Conan focus on many of the supporting aspects of Conan’s tales that helped mold him into such a grand figure. These chapters render in awesome composition such notable items as The Book of Sk💙elos, 💫various ancient ruins, cursed cities, nameless cults, and more than a few beasts and creature horrors of the Hyborian Age.
